If you plan to dine in for a while, especially if on your own I wouldn't recommend this cafe. I came to this café planning to enjoy a quiet morning tea, a coffee, juice, and stay through and order a meal for lunch while working on my laptop. I chose a four-seater table with a nice view — there were many other empty tables of the same size nearby, and it was 10:30am, not a peak period.

Shortly after sitting down, I was approached by a staff member (an older woman with black hair) who abruptly told me I had to move to a smaller table because I couldn’t sit at a "prime" table alone with my laptop at their cafe. I had just sat down, I was mid-phone call at the time and didn’t get a chance to explain that I intended to order multiple items and dine in for a while. Once I finished my call, I let her know I was planning to stay and spend money — but she repeated that I needed to move, in a dismissive and rude tone, even though there were vacant tables all around me.

She went on to say that people with laptops often take up space without buying anything, which felt like an unfair assumption. I completely understand the need to manage seating during busy periods or for larger groups, but that wasn’t the case. I was judged before I even had a chance to order, and immediately unwelcome.

It was a disappointing experience & turned me off. Based on this and the poor service from this staff member, I wouldn’t recommend this café, especially if you plan to dine...

lovely spot, good coffee & food was ok. Chilli scramble omelette was drowned in balsamic vinegar, so over took the whole flavour of the dish.

unfortunately, the service was too slow. if food & drinks are going to take a long time, then the staff should give us the heads up. Over 20 minutes for 2 coffees & almost an hour for breakfast.

What topped it off was the inconsistent info from the staff. When we first sat down by a lovely waitress I said we wanted a takeaway breaky wrap & she said to order it when we were almost finished our meals.

When a more mature lady (finally) delivered our food, I asked if we could order the takeaway wrap now and how long it would take, considering our food took almost an hour. She was quick to be short, impolite & had a major attitude problem. I tried to explain the other waitress told us to order it later, however she was quick to tell us they were very busy (go figure)and the order would be put in Queue as they don't fastrack takeaways

I did ask if she could check how long a takeaway wrap would take. She told me she didn't have the time & to think on it. honestly very...

Such a poor experience for lunch today. Would have spent a lot more money here but could tell from very early on that the cafe was disorganised and food was probably going to be questionable. Boy was I right. The kitchen never made our starter bowl of chips, which we waited over 30 minutes for. We then ordered 2 burgers and a fish and chips. The burgers came out on untoasted bread rolls, the kind you would buy from Woolies to make a cheese roll with for school lunches. It made the entire burger soggy and fall apart. The menu said “toasted Turkish roll” (false advertising). My husbands burger had some kind of relish on it that has spoiled and smelled awful - he couldn’t eat any of it. The waitress saw us all having a smell of it and asked what was going on. I told her it smelled bad and he couldn’t eat it, that we would like a refund, but this was not granted. Overall, a really poor experience. You would think that for the sake of $22, and making my husband feel sick, and waiting the 30 mins for the chips that never came, that they would do the right thing and refund him. Very poor. So here is my...

Definitely not worthy of a 4.6 average. We selected this cafe based on its high Google score and the breakfast we had was decidedly average. I had The Ultimate, which was the ultimate in ordinary meals. The bacon was cheap and undercooked, the scrambled eggs dry and overcooked, the hash browns were frozen, not made in house and to cap it all off, the tea was served using teabags. Why do cafes like this continue to serve teabags? There’s no cafe that would serve instant coffee, yet places like this think it’s okay to use teabags. It’s seriously annoying. My partner’s meal, eggs Benedict with smoked salmon was quite good and her coffee reasonably good (even though she received full cream milk when asking for a skim flat white). A far cry from the best brunch we’ve had and I would recommend looking elsewhere, especially if you’re a tea drinker like me.

We first came across Cafe VinCino a few days ago when we called in for coffee, smoothies and cakes, and we were so impressed with the food, drinks and service that we immediately booked in for a family lunch, (group of 8). We were not disappointed. We had a perfect position in the back room, with a beautiful view over the river. Our wait staff were very friendly and obliging, happily attending to all our special requests. The food and drinks again did not disappoint. Everyone in our group loved their meals, highlights being the seafood chowder, the omelette and the pork belly burger. And the coffees and smoothies were done perfectly. For a combination of friendly staff, great food and drinks and a perfect riverside view, this place cannot be beaten; our best dining experience in the Noosa area so far.
