Honestly one of the worst meals I’ve had in Torquay. After we ordered our meal we were told that the kitchen actually wasn’t open for another half an hour. So we decided to get some tempura prawns. They went and got them from the window of fried stuff at the front. I was expecting them to at least fry fresh ones. The prawns weren’t crispy or particularly nice especially considering the price. After 50 mins our food arrived at our table. We ordered Japanese curry katsudon. It was mainly vegetables that I’ve never seen in this dish before, including a pile of broccoli that I don’t think many people couldn’t even finish let alone enjoy. Just after our pile of broccoli arrived, all the chefs came out of the kitchen to sing a Chinese song extremely loudly and eat, what looked like really nice food in front of us. Won’t come back. This proves the pretentious people that live around us will eat anything if you put a...

Nice place but the noodles tasteless. I had seafood Laksa and my friend had wonton noodle soup. I love noodles and had all kind of noodles everywhere I travel and one meal a day I eat noodles. Laksa is one of my go for noodles if I am not sure about the restaurant. Funky ninja seafood Laksa is the worst Laksa noodle soup I have ever had in my life. My friend’s wonton noodle soup is pretty much the same quality and I suggest this place to my friend. So, I paid for the meal and apologised my friend that I wasted her lunch break time and lunch itself. Never will go to this place again. Whoever is cooking in that kitchen should be ashamed of themselves and go eat some noodles in other restaurants so that you would know what Laksa tastes like. Noodle was so disgusting that I had to eat some sore throat lozenge to...

Rather prompt service. I had the beef Bento Box and the sashimi was deliciously fresh. The other items were nice too. There was also a ready made assortment of sushi at the counter. The rice dish with teriyaki chicken, which my fellow diner ordered, was also nicely done. The edamame beans were a nice touch. The dining area is quite small but adequate for quick turnover fast food dining. High chairs are available. This appears to be a licensed venue. Not what I would call a romantic place as the staff were quite animated with their own conversations and the ventilation in the kitchen could do with an upgrade. But the food was good. Come for the food, not...

This place has become a frequent delight for me! The array of dishes never fails to impress, and each one is not only delicious but served promptly and generously. The variety available is wonderful, and the staff's warmth and friendliness add so much to the experience. I've even been pleasantly surprised with complimentary dishes and takeaway treats on several occasions. It's truly an incredible spot that holds a special place in the hearts of Torquay. Thank you for consistently exceeding expectations!

We had the Teriyaki Chicken Don and the Prawn black bean stir fry noodles- both were enjoyable in their own right though (for me), they were slightly too salty. Nevertheless it was tasty. Service was friendly and decent. Toilets need better upkeep. It wasn’t as bad as i expected after reading other reviews but I agree it needed more constant cleaning.

Great food, Great price, Great service Staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly and the food was well worth the money. Large serving sizes and No costs to take out food after eating in. Ordered Ramen and Goza, Sushi was very popular. Free water with order. -Bella Bath
