McDonald's Victor Harbor — Restaurant in Victor Harbor

Today I bought a vegetarian burger through the drive through. I traveled 12 kilometers back to Pt Elliot to enjoy my meal. This is the first time I've bought a veg burger from maccas. After a really long hard day was looking forward to it. Opened it up couldn't believe my eyes. Bun. Veg pattie 3, 4 strands of lettuce 1 slice of pickle smear of mayo. Though hungry I decided that this was not acceptable. So, a fter having a look at what this burger should look like I got back in the car and drive 12 km back to Victor Harbor maccas. I talk to the manager and show him the burger and get him to compare the picture to the paltry burger Given to me. He agreed that it did not match. He had another burger made for me which is good but I would have expected him to give me a refund as well seeing that I had to travel 12 km. But no, I had to ask for a refund, which he did do. The new burger was not much better. The new veg burger fron maccas is a huge fail and gives heartburn. If you want a really fantastc vegetarian burger then the Hungry Jacks vegan burger is absolutely fantastic and huge and good value for money. The maccas veg burger is pathetic! Unfortunately there is no HJs in Victor Harbor. I will in future check my meals before leaving the premises. Maybe maccas should take a leaf out of Domino's book and make sure all burgers are...

I was really disappointed with the service I got tonight at Mcdonalds, I ordered a burger from the chicken range and when it came I found mould on the bun.....it was clearly mould because it was blue and green. I went to the front counter and told them that there was mould on the burger. They took the burger and said they would replace it so I was happy to wait, 25 minutes pass and I'm standing at the counter wondering what is going on, the lady who seemed to be the manager asked me why I was there, and I replied "Im just waiting for my burger you guys said you were going to replace because the last one you gave me was mouldy" from which she replied " it wasn't mouldy it was just a little burnt from the grill". I was disappointed because my friends and I clearly could see and knew that it was mould on the burger bun not just a burn but the manager didn't take responsibility and said it was burnt when it was clearly mouldy. It honestly did not bother me that much that the burger was mouldy because I figured it was just a simple mistake but the fact that I had to wait 25 minutes and be lied to was not OK! Not only was it poor service but these are health risks that Mcdonalds should...

Im sorry but I can Give zero stars for this restaurant. I called in for lunch with my grandaughters on our way home. I ordered at the counter through a staff member who clearly did not like being there. The wait time was almost 30 minutes which gave me the time to look around the store. I was disgusted at how dirty the place was from ceiling to floor. Filthy windows and walls, the door handle to the outside play area wS covered in dried on food ans sauce. I cant even describe the toilets but the smell was so bad. I witnessed a staff member put his finger up his nose, then carry on getting drinks ready. Staff look filthy with dirty uniforms and most of them had dirty hair and looked unwashed. I work in the food industry and I'm pretty sure kitchens have a cleanliness policy which includes wearing gloves and hairnets when handling food. The food was basically slop when it arrived with half filled chips and cold burgers. I will never return to this site and hand over my hard earned money again....
