Decided to take the missus out for dinner tonight, she was craving Mexican and I thought this place would be great. Boy was I wrong. The staff were amazing and the drinks were great but the prices are overtop for the quality and quantity of food you receive. I ordered the regular nachos ($19 plus meat), Payed an extra $4 for meat which is a sham, I also ordered beef, not chicken. And was told that the beef is mince, not brisket. I did not get $4 worth of meat. (Image below) My nachos were piled high so I had to remove my guacamole, sour cream and salsa to access any of the meat because it was under bunch of chips. My partner ordered 2 soft beef tacos ($14) that arrived on a plate that burned her hands because it was left on a hot plate or something. Her tacos arrived wet and soggy, fully inedible. We ordered a guacamole dip as an entree and it actually wasn’t that bad but the serving size was ridiculously average. (15$) The drinks were amazing I ordered two lemon lime and bitters, and a caramel shake. Asked for service to talk to the chef and was told that the tacos were fine even though they came out looking like a used diaper and smelled terrible. I was discounted 4$ for the meat but that was all I got. My partner spent some time in the toilet because she felt unwell after eating what she received We arrived hungry, left hungry, and went to hungry jacks. I spent about 80$ on dinner at this place and I honestly wouldn’t return here again.

Had a B'day party there with 22 people. Upon arrival staff would greet you with a smile, set you up at a table and start taking orders for drinks then meals. While taking orders staff were helpful, during meal service, the staff were a little bit scarce, but as to be expected with a large group. After meals were served, staff were often unseen again for any requests for follow-up drink orders. From all accounts the Steaks were cooked perfectly & were extremely delicious although the sauce was a let down & the Burritos all came back to another high point. No Ciders. All Spirits are served via a 30ml shot in a glass and with your selected pre-mix, No cans or stubbies. Beers do come in a stubby. The Fish Bowl Margareitas were also a bit of a let down, they were priced accordingly but lacking in alcohol. To the final process of the night, the Bill. This was an extremely slow process with a group, each order needed to be added into the system individually from a notepad, finding every meal name & any additions on the menu. So of course with 22 people the time it took to depart was almost 1hr. I think the management need to consider pdt notebooks or pda's for staff to take orders on to reduce the waiting time to finalise the bill.

Food was delicious, reasonably priced and good size portions. Great friendly customer service, lovely Mexican decor and we were seated on a table with wonderful views. Hands down one of the best Mexican restaurant we have been to. The icecream nachos and margaritas was so good! Great for families, my two kids were entertained in the toy room whilst we enjoyed our meals and drinks. Highly recommended and will be back again !

Got a shock when we saw our bill tonight, realised on the way out there was a very small sign saying no half priced margaritas anymore (waitresses didn’t bother to mention this either). What a shame. Been coming here at least once a month on a Friday night for quite some time because of the margaritas but new owner has taken this great promotion away.

We won’t be returning until (if) it returns.

Edit: you say “we will never do half priced margaritas forever” yet your small sign says temporarily. So which is it?

Good luck going out of business.

*edit Heard these guys are struggling, am I surprised? No. Looks like you gave up a winning...
