Great customer service from the owner!. The restaurant has a great wall of hot sauces to try.. and buy if you like it! My hubby loved it and thorougly enjoyed trying some of the hottest sauces from the top shelf! He said he loved the Burrito (which he tried 3 hot sauces on) and everything else he ordered, which included 3 x 11cm sized soft tacos with 3 different kinds of fillings. He washed it down with a Mexican Cola, which he also said he liked, and that's really something coming from him. He really loves his chilli and he enjoyed everything he had there. He couldn't stop smiling the whole time we were there and said he really wanted to come back again! I had the Chille Con Carne, which was quite tasty and 1 x soft 11cm sized taco with the red onion, pineapple something.. and pork crackling pieces in it. It was nice (but I don't usually like crackling). I washed it all down with the small fish bowl of Magarita with Mexican spice covered sour worm in it. That was good. This was from the separate drinks menu, which is not shown in the pictures. We also decided to have dessert. I had the dessert taco with lemon meringue, which was yummy (it was different having it on a soft 11cm size taco). My hubby had the Mexican doughnuts (churros) (4 x small sized churros per serve) with caramel & chocolate dipping sauces, and I think cream? They were really nice, the best I've ever had! Crispy on the outside with a soft spongy centre, covered in cinnamin sugar.. these were perfectly cooked! My hubby would only let me have just the one churros, as he didn't want to share the rest, they were so good! Haha I really recommend...
Read moreSituated in the shops connected to the Traralgon Train Station it was easy to find free parking.
Walked in around 6pm with no booking and the staff were very accommodating, we were met with Humor, genuine smiles and great rapport building from the staff working who clearly loved the work they were doing.
The tables and wall deco is an aesthetic of its own and fits well, loved the variety of hot sauces on the tables and on a bookshelf.
I ordered the $15 burrito (can’t remember the exact name) and my wife ordered Tacos and another dish, we also got a soft drink and iced chocolate.
The food was prepared fresh and delivered to the table quickly, well presented and so tasty! Best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time.
The iced chocolate was also quite good.
The total for our meals and drinks which more than filled us was under $55.
No liquor licence at present but options for drinking nearby at 3844 and the pub across the road.
Had I expected it to be this good I would’ve taken photos to include.
10/10 would recommend...
Read moreI have searched for authentic Mexican cuisine for many a mango season, and where should I find it, Traralgon, of course. For the kids or those of fragile sensitivity, the food, as it comes, is mild, fresh and delicious. For those like me, who want to not only taste, but also experience Mexican cuisine, you have a selection of sauces, from pleasant, to please get me a drink NOW!!!! From one end of the Scoville score to the insane end, I worked my way through the selection, wow, utterly brilliant, to the one that is so insane you can see colours. Yes, you can eat it normally, yes you can make it an experience that will resurface your tastebuds, you have the sauces to be as bold as you wanna be and test your limits. Warning, not recommended that you are passionate or intimate if your partner isn't into insanely hot spices, and be prepared for a Johny Cash trip to the loo in the morning. This is one great Mexican feed experience, especially for those who...
