Bubba Pizza — Restaurant in Victoria

Today I give 5 *. I don't care if her name is spelt Kerry, Kerri or Kerrie. On Fathers Day 2020 the year of isolation and of not seeing anyone this lovely lady made my dads day. I could not see him as I am in Melbourne and he's in Geelong, I wanted to get Pizza dilivered for dad while he was watching the footy I tried the local Pizza shop that my family always used but they wouldn't deliver not even UBER. So I rang to OUR NEW PIZZA SHOP BUBBA PIZZA IN WAURN PONDS to see if they delivered. A lovely lady answered the phone and told me that they didn't do deliveries until later that day, however I could order from UBER and then have it delivered. This wonderful lady also asked if I would like anything written on the box like "Happy Fathers Day" I had not even thought of that. She bought me to tears, how beautiful...(thank you). I told her that I would be ordering a large BBQ chicken and another Pizza so she could write on the box. I said goodbye and went to the delivery site. I had never used a food delivery service before and it took me a little bit to figure it out. During that time someone else had ordered a BBQ Chicken Pizza and I received a phone call back from her asking if it was me because of the writing on the box. It wasn't me, but how nice and professional was that? I placed my order and the Pizza was delivered dad took a selfie with the Pizza and said it was the BEST Pizza he's had in long, long time. Firstly thank you Kerri, Kerry, Kerrie. I know hospitality is horrible on these special days from past experience...this would have been my first fathers day with my dad for many year as was in hospitality too. Kerry, Kerrie, Kerri you made it possible for me to at least make his day by showing the initiative on telling me to use a delivery service and the SPECIAL message on the box. Had a horrible experience from a young girl tonight on Monday 2nd Jan 2023 at the Bubbas Waurn Ponds Store. I went online to look at menu and when I called she gave me completely different information than what was on the menu online such as prices and pizza as part of the special. When questioned why the menu was different online to over the phone the lady gave me attitude and claimed "that's because everyone orders online" and was very sarcastic. She claimed none of the pizzas were part of the traditional menu that was clearly marked online and was extremely rude. Unfortunately our family was looking forward to multiple pizzas and have used this business over a decade.. however due to this young girls attitude our large family will never be going back again.. disappointing. Bubbas Pizza is a ok pizza restaurant starting with the down sides about 15 minutes after ordering the very nice lady told us that she had forgotten to make our order and would get to it right away, this ended up making our trip over 40 mins but they did make up for it with a free drink. Then after getting our pizza & load Texas chips, I would say the meat lover half was very average and underwhelming but the Hawaiian was very good the pineapple was very fresh and juicy. Then moving on to the Texas chips they where outstanding with lots of flavourful seasons and others little bits, but the serving size was very small for 15$.
