If you like Heinz Tomato soup, you're gonna love the butter chicken. Also, the coconut rice didnt taste anything like coconut. Terrible Indian food... 100% absolutely the worst I have ever had. I was really looking forward to butter chicken not tomato soup.

In reply to your owners reply: I was a walk in customer approximately 545pm Sunday 21st at the Lara store. I paid by cash. How dare you call me a liar for speaking my opinion on your food. I am an online food critic and I decided not to add your food to my page because everyone deserves a seconds chance. I put it here though because the local area needs to know whe. They decide to get Indian what it actually taste like. Some people might like tomato soup curry. Also that could just be how mild normally taste but it wasn't for me. Also notice how other customers mentioned the tomato soup flavour. You could have handled this differently an it might have changed me review but...

Poor Customer Service. Staff very rude and busy on their own, no body to take order even when the restaurant was empty.

The food is good, i had the vindaloo and my wife the buttered chicken. Good size servings and reasonable price. The garlic naan bread was good, perhaps a little too much garlic, but that's just a little feedback not a criticism.

The young bloke serving was very helpful and polite, and a credit to the business.

However, the ambience of the shop is a little lacking, but perhaps the focus is more on take-away. I'll definitely try the Madras takeaway and see...
