A true hidden gem! They offer a huge selection of plant based breakfasts, sandwiches, creative salads and desserts. Generally vegan, some come with egg, there are no meat replacements used. I had really hard times deciding because it all just looked amazing. In the end I had the gipsy salad, the BBQ-tofu roll, the hazelnut slice, a Ferrero cup and coffee (yes, I went there 2 days in a row cause it was so good). Huge portions and very fair prices. They also sell small local crafts and international sweets/chocolate known for their ethical production and sustainability like true gum or Tony chocolony. No outdoor seating. I ordered food here a few years ago and the salad I had was aweful and I literally couldn't even stomach it so I put it in the bin.

As we eat over 80% organic I thought we'd try it again and firstly the vibe was weird! The lady serving wasn't overly friendly and she was wearing these big blacked out GUCCI sunglasses (it wasn't sunny in there, it was really dark) again, the energy was off . I bought all the different flavours of rice paper rolls and fortunately they tasted very fresh also very cold as they were from the refrigerated display cabinet, the 5 different rolls were okay but the sauces were overpowering making it difficult to get through. Overall Day Kitty was dissapointing .

Literally the second nest soup ive had only second to my mum I am sick and have no taste buds and I gor s symphony of umami salt heat buttery golden ginger lentil soup. I am a vegan in a very small rural town there is about 2 vegan resturaunts kind of and appalling groceries to. So this place is my favourite and is a treat and not just for thr town but the likes of serotonin eatery and its calibre ive had the closest tasting vegan eggs benefict here the slices are to die for and they even have. Agreed selection of groceries including yummy snacks definstely a must go for a health nut vegan or just someone who isnt one...
