A little pricey for what you get. Stay completely away from the Logan Seafood Catch, you would get better at a takeaway seafood shop in the middle of Australia. The fish, prawn cutlets and scallops were over-battered and I’m talking about the wet kind of batter that’s slimy inside - I thought those days were gone. The oddity of crumbed calamari (the only thing I ate most of), and batter for everything else, just doesn’t work. I left over half of my meal on the plate. The (tartare?!?) sauce was really, just strange, almost like it was just made out of some mayo and mustard and other ingredients - did they run out of tartare? Wasn’t bad, wasn’t good, but was definitely strange in flavour. Maybe I should have went for the steak- it looked better, however that was a little over-done, according to the in-law Prosciutto Pizza was tasty, but only because the tomato-based sauce was fresh. Was the Prosciutto even Prosciutto? Prosciutto should be broken up, not resembling diced up ham strips that you would normally get on a Dominoes pizza. The base of the pizzas was okay, but we all agreed that it could have been brought in a store ready to throw toppings on. Service was efficient, but the waitresses seemed like they were more or less in a hurry and didn’t want to be there. As the bro in-law said; “they could at least smile a bit more”. This is not fine dining if that’s what it’s trying to achieve. There is nothing special about this place. The menu sounds interesting, but you will be disappointed. Over-reaching is an understatement in this case. Much like a discontinued Ford Taurus, wanting to be a 2022 Ford Mustang GT. Not letting the Bro in-law choose where we eating next time....
Read more(I’ve had better experiences here but I’m going off my most recent meal here) Also, 3 ⭐️ for the service due to the other girls coming over otherwise it would’ve been a 2 to be honest
Group of 4 for dinner 3 out of 4 got entrees - no hassles there - although the salad that went with the prawns had no dressing and was very average (I don’t eat salads from restaurants so no biggie there from me) Mains - 3 out of 4 were scoffed down. Perfect. Seafood catch - I think about 1/3 of it got eaten. lightly battered it was not, pretty much all of it got pulled off cos there was so much and scallops were very average - not overly impressed.
Service 🫠 Our main waitress was so bored and flat, and like she was struggling to grasp what we were ordering and looked like she’d rather be anywhere else but serving people - not sure if it was her first night or in training or what the go was but after she had left our table throughout the night, one of the other girls would come over and ask us what the original girl had asked but was actually putting in a little effort to make sure our night was going well - really appreciated but they’ve got other tables to worry about and not double checking everything at other tables constantly.
Have been here a number of times with the same group of people and our most recent meal was probably our most disappointing - but we...
Read moreHadn’t been here for a number of years, now I remember why. It still takes well over an hour to get your meals even though it wasn’t that busy, table of 10, my meal came out wrong. I had asked if the dish I was ordering was onion free, they said they would remove any onion from the dish, not what I asked. Waitress never came back so I assumed I was fine to order and wouldn’t come out with most of the ingredients missing. Had asked for the pesto sauce on the side, came out with everything drowned in pesto sauce and there were no sundried tomatoes(the reason I’d ordered the baked chicken). Sent the dish back, I think they actually rinsed the chicken fillet and replated it, the pesto sauce was so overpowering you couldn’t actually taste the prawns and the amount of pepper made it inedible. Son’s chicken Kiev was dry as was the pacific rim chicken. Brandy pasta was bland too. One meal they didn’t even bring the accompanying salad. The only meal that was enjoyed was the chicken filo. Espresso Martini was good. Table beside us was so loud we couldn’t have a conversation at...
