Honestly the worst experience I've ever had which I don't normally have picking a restaurant. I went with family of nine and when I entered I told my appointment details and one of the guy staff asked some weird questions which I was a bit confused. We got seated but one chair was missing even though I made a reservation and the one staff said there was hard copy menus on the table but there was none and we had to ask for some. First of all, the drinks weren't amazing. No alcholic drink tasted good (I've had better). A mojito didn't even taste alcoholic which we had to order another one and still wasn't even that good. We ordered a virgin mojito and when we received the girl staff said that she didn't trust her other staff member to see if he put alchol in it. Who says that??? Second, the onions rings were to salty and the chicken wings were a little cold. We asked for plates TWICE for entrees. One of the girl staff said that she would tell someone to get the plates but it didn't come so I had ask again. A lot of miscommunication. My aunt said the prawn tacos were disgusting. The chimichanga was bland. Overall the food was salty and most were bland. It wasn't exciting at all. Third, the service was terrible. We had one server/waiter outside and she didn't look lively. Once we finished our entree she didn't take the initiative to pick our plates and she started having a conversation with another staff while I was waiting to order mains. She even tried to take a glass away that still had drinks in it?? Fourth, the atmosphere was boring. looked dirty and old and didn't enjoy being there at all!! NO WATER. We visited Hecho en Mexico while on holiday and travelling though Warnambool. It was a Monday and not much was open, we were pleased to see the Mexican open. Service over all was good and the food was nice.

What was surprising is that we were refused a glass of water. This was due to their covid policy as they ‘needed to keep both the staff and customer safe’.

We proceed to order 2 margarita’s without issue, they came in a glass. I asked again for water and was told no. I asked why as I believed a venue had to provide water if they provide alcohol. He replied ‘well yes we do but we are not tonight’ I then pointed at 2 glasses of water on another table and he said ‘ well now you have seen that I’ll get you some’ , no water arrived.

I’m just confused. If a Margarita in a glass is safe, why isn’t water? I would have understood if there was a no glasses policy, if it was all sealed containers, but the fact they would give us alcohol in a glass but not water baffled me.

To my surprise walking past the restaurant the next night there was bottles of water on every table

I’m not sure if this was a random decision from the staff on the night or who told them to do this but overall very unusual. I totally understand times are tough and venues need to adapt the way they operate but this seemed like a very odd call. Who refuses to...

Came into here with a friend on holiday expecting some average Mexicano food that would tie us over in country Victoria while on our holidays. Adding to this i have always been dissipointed by the quality of most Mexicano food in Australia.

What we found was a beautiful place that had... Amazing staff Amazing entrees Amazing cocktail drinks

The staff were great and very friendly, would highly rate the service i recived here from the staff and special shout out goes to Kim who gave us an awesome experience as the new restaurant manager

The entrees with taquitos and stuffed jalepinos and the cooked corn were amazing and are what i proper mexicano food in México is like

The paella main could of been better quality but for the experience i hope this is something the team can take on-board to improve an almost perfect experience

The drinks were very nice and done with great quality, especially the Margheritas had a great flavor balance!

Would highly recommend anyone who likes good food in the area to go here and have a great weekend...
