The low score is mainly because of the manager Mel. We find her dishonest and unprofessional.

We booked Deluxe Cabin 89 for 2-5 Feb. As soon as we checked in, we noticed a disgusting smell in the room and found a roasted chicken (photos available) in the microwave. After contacting Mel, she said that she cleaned everywhere except the microwave after the last guest checked out. She removed the chicken and cleaned the microwave. But the room is still filled with the smell of rotten chicken. It's there for at least a day, and it was over 30 degrees, imagine the smell!

Mel proposed Cabin 63 (according to Mel is the only one available), and promised that she would refund us with the difference of the two suites as well as waiving the fee of the first night. So, we moved to Cabin 63, which is not a deluxe cabin so costs lower than the one we booked.

In the next morning, she refused to waive the one-night fee and only would refund the room difference. Her reason was we refused to stay in Cabin 89, but it was her proposal to move and promise to waive the night’s fee. When asked about her promises, she said she never said anything like that!

When we checked out on 5th Feb, Mel said that there was “something” wrong with the system therefore it would take a few hours before she could refund the room difference.

As of today, no refund was made to us. We called them a few times and they either did not answer the phone or ignored our request.

So, we had a rotten chicken in the room, had to pack and move during the evening to a cabin with downgrade, being lied to multiple times, and paid the full price for a deluxe cabin! We won’t come back because we don’t want to deal with Mel and her bag of lies. If you’re going there, I suggest you record...

First time @ Tasman Big 4 Holiday Park , a much needed break .

Location is the draw card for this property!

Arrived @ 830pm on our first night, booked for 3 , reception closed our keys in envelope in guest box.

Unit was choice of accommodation , cleanliness very poor , couch all stained , all beds not made on arrival also fans in bathroom also dining area were absolutely filthy.

Minimal towel’s during the duration of our stay , only was provided 4 and one face washer for our 3 night and 4 day stay .

Addressed this issue with reception, to be told by manager that it’s not a hotel and it’s general families that stay in the units, I informed manager we are a family , and 4 towels also one face washer isn’t acceptable for a family for that many days.

On our second night, on return from being out all day to a unit infested by ants, in bathroom , kitchen also all down hallway and in one room , reception once again unattended, after hrs number not easily accessible.

To contact reception the following day , after a 4 hr drive home as accommodation unable to be used , to be advised we should have called reception to assist us , also to be informed that the cleaner stated there wasn’t no ants.

Wouldn’t recommend this property , definitely not...

Cabin |Pros : |- bbq very clean|- swimming pool and amenities clean |- staff is very friendly |Cons : |- hair in the bed ( linen haven’t been changed) , we asked the reception and it had been changed |- rangehood is filthy |- bathroom cabinets never get clean staff from previous guest still there |- no large pot( cooking dinner for kids) , grater, chopping board , wine glasses salt or pepper ( again it’s not camping it’s deluxe cabin) and if you cook dinner before 5 it can be resolved but after 5pm office shut |- no wifi ( issue adresed couple time not resolved and not inteeested , but with 2 teens and my work laptop it was an issue) |- pool is 1.2 m so for little kids amazing for teens boring |- staff seems interested to resolve but can’t care less if you don’t keep asking |- we left a night earlier no one asked why |Dear Tasman with the price tag 260 a night for family of 3 , I actually expected more from you , I like warnambool and taking my only getaway this year , it supposed to be fun |I am sorry to say it but you ruined it .
