Unfortunately our experience wasn't that great! Should have known when we spotted flies in the sandwich display cabnet running over the food! But it is summer and we weren't having sandwiches!

We ordered breakfast and coffee When ordering we were told it would be a long wait for coffee as the coffee orders were crazy busy. We were happy to wait and eat while we did. My coffee came out 45 minutes later. Unfortunately when it did come out it wasn't correct. I had ordered a long black with cream on the side as I don't drink milk.

This order was happily taken along with my payment. When the coffee finally arrived it came as just a long black. The owner told me their cream delivery hadn't yet arrived so she couldn't give me cream, she also said that the delivery might be here soon. She offered milk but I explained I don't drink milk she said if the cream arrived in the next 10 or so minutes she would bring me a fresh one, if not she would refund my coffee. We were in the cafe for at least another 20 minutes finishing off our breakfast. Disappointingly we were never approached again for table clearing or our coffee. I'm still wondering why my order was taken when they clearly didn't have any cream at the time of ordering!

So I guess when you visit Check that they can actually provide what they say they can and follow up if they don't as they won't! I couldn't be bothered chasing my refund so that's on me. Food was average although bacon was over cooked. Really not much involved in an egg and bacon roll. I've certainly had better at other cafes in Bendigo, with far...

Lovely outdoor seating, average service average food. We had a small child who is generally very quite just a little squiggly so we sat in the grass where she could play. When we went to order staff was very short and blunt, items on the menu that were not stated as an add-on where in fact charged as an add-on. The iced chocolate that comes with ice cream and cream (Does not come with cream, cream is an add on) was okay, tasted like syrup and milk. Iced coffee came without cream and ice cream? Despite it stating both were included however coffee on its own was good. The waffles Americano were okay, just okay, waffles tasted like frozen from the box, and an overload of syrup. The Korean fried chicken sandwich came hot which was great, didn’t realise chips were an add-on however that is our bad because that is stated at the bottom. The Caesar salad was fine a Caesar salad, the chicken was a $6 add on for marinated chicken, turns out it’s crumbed chicken the same as the Korean fried chicken burger stated above. Disappointing overall, we also realised that we were provided takeaway coffees whereas the other customers were provided have here glasses which was odd I don’t want to put it down to the fact we had a child but it seemed they wanted us to leave rather than sit...

Worst cafe experience EVER!! Typically when ordering, in this case breakfast, coffee/drinks are first to arrive, well not at this place!! Having waited for our meal, eaten and waited maybe 10-15 minutes later, asked when our drinks would be out ( heard another table complaining of same ), was told response from barista was, “they’ll be out when they’re out”!!! Well complaining was useless, the barista just bolted, I believe knowing she’d been sprung, and the owner/manager rather than apologised just took on a fight and seemed more interested in knowing which waiter told us this as the barista said, she “didn’t say it” !!! Not only have they lost us, they have now lost a regular who would buy coffee from the window daily and often take away brekkie, two of us who are regular commuters to Sydney from Bendigo airport, ( guess who has there cafe there as well and we refuse to purchase there now ), but all of our friends and family. The treatment was appalling, hopefully you’ll all learn a...

Staff very friendly and served us straight away can't fault tham at all.... but won't be back had bacon and eggs and hubby got mushrooms as well, bacon hardly cooked was warm at best, the sourdough toast needed a bit more toasting, and the mushrooms well clearly out of a jar as they where soggy and had a huge garlic flavour, not the hard to slice up fresh mushrooms and cook them, and for the price as well I won't be back, nearly $60 for that not yes I know they need to make money, as for my coffee cappuccino way way to hot had to wait ages to be able to drink it, we sat inside and the amount of flys was huge we kept having to wave our hands over our food to get them away, need to figure out a spray or something near the door to keep them out,

Visited this cafe recently and was really let down. The person taking our order was rude, unwelcoming, and didn’t crack a smile once – not the kind of service you’d expect when grabbing a coffee or bite to eat. The menu was surprisingly limited – no basic cafe staples like a BLT or eggs benedict. When the food arrived, we asked for some sauce, but no one ever brought it. The avocado on toast was dry and completely plain – no seasoning, no dressing, nothing. To top it off, the brownie we ordered was burnt and honestly inedible. The only saving grace was the coffee, which was actually quite good. But overall, definitely not worth the visit based on service and food quality. Plenty of better options out there.

We tried to make a booking here on a Sunday morning online for 8 people and weren’t able to (so fair) but when we got there the staff were super accomodating and provided us with an extra table and seats so fit our whole party. The menu has something for everyone which is why we chose it to begin with! We ordered the Americano waffles, smashed avo, big breakfast, egg and bacon brioche bun and a few toasties. Everything came out within minutes of each other and was super tasty. And their chai lattes were phenomenal. Really recommend this place if you want a hearty meal. Dog friendly and has seating outside (with umbrellas and some blankets available)
