Fraga's Cafe — Restaurant in Victoria

We stopped over here for lunch after a visit to Steavensons Falls. This is a quaint cafe with both indoors and outdoor seating located on the main street. The staff was friendly and pleasant. Meals must be ordered and paid at the counter. We ordered pot pies (came with slad and chippies, the pie was a bit bland with the pastry top was nice and crispy - 3star), chicken baguette (a bit dry as it did not have any dressing so we had to add in tomato sauce - 2star), ham and cheese toastie (quite nice - 4 star), hot chocolate, tea and a flat white (all 3 stars). My wife and I and a couple of good friends were after a good coffee and some desert and visited fraga's cafe yesterday afternoon. The place is full of atmosphere even though it is not a very large place. The staff were friendly and chatty. We ordered apple crumble and ice cream. The best apple crumble I have eaten and I have eaten in may places! I could not finish the desert it was so big!! The coffee was smooth and creamy mand suited my taste. We also ordered two massive vegetable soups to take away which came with a large panini. We ate the soups for dinner and they were truly delicious! Such a lovely picturesque cafe restaurant in every way. Country charm at its best. Beautiful tree and street views from fully glassed frontage. Indoor and outdoor seating available. Good for dining alone or in groups. Cozy, romantic and family friendly. There is a long bench that can accommodate 12 at a squeeze or 10 comfortably. Beautiful photographs of the local landscape line the walls and add to the serene ambience. A place to return to over and over again. Friendly staff.
