We went in to order a drink at around 3pm and there were 4 serving staff out front. There were about 3 others waiting for their take away orders and they were served in a timely fashion. Our order was taken promptly but then we waited for at least 15 mins before being informed that our drink was unavailable. During our wait time, the front staff just stood around, having casual discussions/mucking around and often browsing on their phones. We were not impressed when we then canceled our order and the polite second staff member gave us cash from the till, saying they don’t know how to process a refund in the EFTPOS machine. I have no problem with cash, however it was the fact that he didn’t think to even ask any of the other 3 staff members (including someone who I expected was the manager) how to do it. A good experience overall. To give context, we were at Phillip Island at the busiest time of the year, and I bet that this place had just experienced rushes they had never had before. Service was friendly, and while our bubble teas took a bit of time, they were nice! I will say the pearls were a bit soft and stuck together, perhaps because it was towards the end of the day. The classic/original milk tea I ordered could have had a stronger tea flavour. However, the oolong tea was absolutely delicious. The price for bubble tea is not exactly inexpensive: however, there are no real bubble tea alternatives on the island and no large Asian grocers, so I understand it takes extra work to source ingredients for a store like this. OMG!!!! we were looking for a fish and chip place for dinner and decided to go here after reading all the reviews. Also, it was one of the only fish and chip places that was open in the Cowes area at 3.30. We were already at Aldi at this time and didn’t want to wait around for another hour for the other places to open. I am so glad we decided to get dinner from here. We ordered the family pack and some pork rolls. The fish was so good! Nice, crisp batter and the aioli was so good too!! It was the best fish and chips and best tasting pork roll we’ve ever tasted!!!
