Mildura Noodle & Pasta Bar — Restaurant in Victoria

I am amending my previous review, as it appears that in the last couple of months the service has declined significantly with this business. I made a phone order assuming that I would avoid the in store wait, however upon arriving I provided my order number and was asked if I had paid. When I stated I had not I was informed that my order would be ready soon and to wait on the other side of the room. I was surprised as I was informed that my meal would be ready in 20 minutes and it was already approximately 40 minutes since I ordered. I waited between 15 to 20 minutes and during this time the staff member I had spoken to had looked at me several times and at one point had been laughing and talking with another customer about what he had ordered this time. During the time I was waiting there were only two other people served and one of them had come in after me and picked up and paid for their order. After this time I had been waiting the same staff member asked me for my order number again and when I provided it she turned and picked up my order without having to look which one it was amongst the orders that had been prepared. It was at this moment that I realised that my order had been prepared before I arrived and had been sitting on the counter going cold and the worst part was that the staff member that had dealt with me was aware of this the whole time. By time I got home the food was cold and unpleasant. I am disappointed because in the 10 years that I have been purchasing from this business the staff have always been polite and prompt. Unfriendly stern service. Not a smile to be seen from any of the staff.

Second time within the month of me eating there. Both times Curry Laksa. 1st time ok, nothing special. 2nd time - DISAPPOINTING. Over-packed with rice noodles and seafood extender. Expensive, and lacking all expected Curry Laksa flavours.

Also the business charges a surcharge for paying with any sort of card. Given we are moving toward a cashless society, and payment via card is encouraged, it would be preferable if they adjusted their advertised menu prices and dropped the surcharge.

Having recently been in Darwin, where the Curry Laksa is exquisite and cheap, perhaps I have been spoilt.

Will be going elsewhere for my Laksa...

This place is atrocious with excessive waiting time and what make it worse they keep piling on and taking on orders even knew that it's already going to take eternity to prepare all the earlier orders. Business should not always think of money and be greedy at the expense if the customers. Remember time is money especially to customers and also delivery drivers. Everyone should avoid going especially during dinner time if you're in rush otherwise prepare to wait at least 40 mins to an hour........
