Nando's Traralgon — Restaurant in Victoria

I've visited multiple Nando's locations across the country, but the Traralgon branch stands out for all the wrong reasons. They seem more eager to close up and go home than to serve their customers properly. On multiple occasions, I’ve noticed them starting to wrap up the dining area nearly an hour before the official closing time.

The customer service was particularly poor—it felt as if they were doing me a favor rather than providing a welcoming dining experience. I also saw other customers arriving after me, only to be inconvenienced by the staff’s rush to shut doors early.

As a loyal Nando’s customer, I expect a consistent standard of service across all locations. Unfortunately, this branch falls short, which is disappointing given Nando’s reputation as a great franchise. I hope management takes action to uphold the brand’s standards.

I don't often have anything horrible to say about the food at Nandos and this restaurant is no different. The food here is always great and never takes too long to come out. I am not sure if Nandos has really any large increases into the pricing of the menu, but it certainly feels like it's jumped massively and I try to avoid taking the whole family if I am trying for a cheeky Nandos meal. This restaurant feels alot smaller than many others and its a good idea to have an early lunch to make you secure a table. The menu like any other restaurant evolves over time and this has some great additions such as the Feta and Broccoli, but I also wish some of the older recipes were still being run like the original classic wrap and supremo wrap. $60 for two people and the meals were pathetically small especially for the price. A few slivers of chicken, some overcooked and over seasoned chips, and a couple of bits of corn that were cooked to the point of being mush. The waitress was unpleasant, snippy and dismissive when serving ourselves and other tables around us. The place was pretty dirty also, tables weren’t cleaned, toilet was disgusting, floor had slop all over it. The whole experience was really disappointing and we won’t be back.
