Update Jan 2025 A difficult and challenging review to write. What has happened to Noodle Box Bendigo? It has been over 12 months since I have been to Noodle Box, and when I wrote my last positive review. (Below) Walking into the restaurant now, (?) to my immediate right I see what can only be described as a dumping ground for a large discarded kitchen appliance and other assorted things. This is the very first thing you see when you enter the food restaurant and is your very first impression of Noodle Box. Immediately to my left I see a mobile commercial barricade that I was to learn by observation, corralled the food delivery drivers in the one spot. I ordered the ‘advertised’ meal I came for. As I waited for my order I observed, a tacky, unprofessional sign advising customers that the restrooms were out of order. Next to the closed restroom was a broom waiting for its owner to return and finish the cleaning job that was started, who knows when. There is a large grey bin with wheels that sits in the entrance from the kitchen to the restaurant. The staff members have to handle this bin to move it to enter the restaurant. All staff return back to the food prep area after handling the bin again. I saw no one sanitise their hands. The next shock for me was the fact portion control of the meals is carried out with Noodle Box takeaway containers. Raw food is placed in the cardboard containers to measure the portion, from here it is then cooked, then returned to the container and handed to the customer. When did this dodgy practice become a thing? The surprising thing to me was the place was flat-out and everyone else must have seen what I/we did. Previous review Seeking a quick meal we stopped in at Noodle Box. We found the staff very friendly, welcoming and efficient considering how busy they were. The store was jumping with both customers and delivery professionals waiting to whisk phone and online orders back to the owners. The fried rice we ordered was very good and we will return.

We had read the previous 1 star reviews and were a bit worried, but we love noodle box so we wanted to try anyways. Glad we did. We came in at 9:30 pm and were met with a friendly girl who confirmed they were indeed open! We ordered our usual MongFu (Mongolian Tofu) and went outside to wait. It didn't take too long, and while I didn't watch them make it (so I can't speak on the hygiene issues), I can confirm they indeed made our MongFu, at the same price we get it from other Noodle Boxes($25 per person for a drink and a big bowl). And let me just say: it was delicious! Not sure how they cooked the tofu but it was so good! One of the best we have had! Thank you guys for topping off our great day with an amazing dinner!

Super quick service and easy pit stop for a takeout feed. Ordered the pork belly small size - not bad. decent chunks of pork belly with lots of flat noodles. Made with recent flavour. Also got the prawn toast and fried tofu which were ok - average sides, not terrible but not super outstanding to warrant getting again. Portion to cost ratio definitely in the more expensive side for what you get which is surprising considering a chain. I imagine the regular size main meals are a better bang for your buck. Appreciate having a smaller portion size though but pricing hmm

Worst customer service ever. Yesterday I came here to pick up a food delivery. I waited for more than 30 minutes for the order. Meanwhile, around 10-12 other food delivery drivers came in after me got their orders and went away. When I asked the girl at front that I am waiting for this order, she told me it will be coming and when I asked her that I have been waiting for more than 30 minutes. Her rude reply was cancel the order if you can’t wait. This is how the staff is trained to talk to customers here. Worst staff ever I have seen. Before this also, I have experienced rude behaviour for delivery drivers, but this time it was too much. I hope they are trained well enough to put in good impression for food. Good food with bad staff and service is considered a bad...
