The owner of this Restaurant is a Racist and horrible person. My friend and I got attacked by him and his wife in Bendigo forest street. Just from our appearance they thought we don’t speak English because we didn’t answer them and tried to avoid further argument we remained silent until his wife started saying to us do we even speak English? Then I replied yes I do!! And I am born and raised in Australia. Then the husband starting coming up close to our faces saying are we stupid and dumb mind you we are both women and actions coming from a man he was that close to my face that I thought he was going to hit me!!! They both still continued to call me and my friend names stupid and dumb!!! They also was recording us on their phone and threatened us they will put on social media they also said they will call police but police was never called as we where the victims we just left.
After we found out from the people who are nearby and they told us that they are always trouble making people and always have issues with people around the neighbourhood so they already know how they are and told us they are the owners of Brocelli’s Bendigo!!!
All I have to say is shame on you both you could have spoken to us both women in a nice way and not make them horrible comments to us just over a parking spot that wasn’t even blocking your driveway you had heaps of space to get your car out as I was parked on the side of the road not on your property. Shame on you for looking at our appearance thinking that we don’t speak English. We ignored you for a reason not to start trouble but as you both husband and wife approached us not even give us a chance to even move that’s how close you where to my face!!!
I have never ever in my life have been racially attack by two older people old enough to be my parents. I’m born a raised in Australia!!! I think next time you shouldn’t be so judgmental and if you do have an issue with somebody it is best for you both to approach people in a nicer way instead of aggressive way and not to attack 2 women I will never forget the harsh full words that you both said but I hope you be a better person in your heart and have some sympathy for people I just want to put this out there how the situation affected me and my friend… after this incident we where actually terrified that we will be attacked randomly on the street again shame on you both that’s...

We came here to celebrate my mother in law’s birthday, and honestly, if this dinner had been at Hogwarts, the scoreboard would have been swinging wildly.
At the start, they earned some points. We had accidentally booked for Friday instead of Saturday, and to their credit they helped us move it. When they rang on Friday to check, we reminded them it was actually Saturday, so in the spirit of fairness: +10 points to Gryffindor for being accommodating.
But then came the evening itself.
Service was mixed. The girls were polite and helpful, but the bearded waiter looked like he had a Portkey waiting to whisk him off somewhere more exciting. He wandered the floor with a bowl of peppers like it was a magical artefact, carefully avoiding eye contact with any Muggles (also known as paying customers). His younger apprentice seemed equally spellbound by doing very little. Dirty plates stayed stacked on our table as if under an Immobulus charm. –20 points.
Then came the food, and it felt like a Defence Against the Dark Arts lesson gone horribly wrong.
Garlic bread: enchanted, genuinely delicious. +5 points.
Pear salad: passable, but hardly worth a prophecy.
Veal: bland, lifeless (pun intended). –10 points.
Pasta: hard, undercooked, flavourless. Honestly, you could skip the gym beforehand because your mouth will get a double workout just trying to chew it. –15 points.
For context, I am the human garbage disposal of the family. I will eat anything, usually finishing everyone else’s leftovers. Here, I could not even finish my own plate. That is not just unusual, that is dark magic.
And this was not just dinner. This was supposed to be a special birthday celebration. Instead, it was the kind of night where you wish you had just grabbed kebabs after instead of sitting through a feast that even the Hogwarts elves would be ashamed of. –30 points.
Finally, the true climax: the bill. $415 to $420 for 4 adults and 3 kids with just one round of drinks (I had two). That is the kind of number that makes Gringotts goblins cackle. –50 points.
So the final tally? A few points earned for garlic bread and helping with the booking, but hundreds deducted for service, food, and value.
Final Score: Not worth the hype, not worth the money. If Dumbledore were here, he would take the hat off this place,...
Read moreToday we had lunch at Borchellis and unfortunately experienced some terrible customer service and attitude, by who I imagine was a manager. Yesterday I had called to booked and informed them we would have a pram for our newborn, and today when we arrived our reserved table was at the back of the seating area. It was tight with tables and chairs so we were unable to fit our pram next to our table without great difficulty, and asking people eating to relocate their seats. We had politely asked if we could move to another empty table with easy access for our pram. We arrived at 11.30am so there was about 15 empty tables around us and many more suitable options without people on them. We assumed this would be a simple request as we were one of the very few people at the restaurant at this time, and we didn’t wish to disrupt the couple enjoying their lunch so we could wedge our pram in to the back section of the seating area, but apparently this was not the case. The tone that we were spoken to was quite confronting, everyone eating at the front of the restaurant was watching. I explained to the manager the pram would not fit beside our table, which she strongly disagreed and said that was the only table we could sit on. When I tried to fit the pram in, it was in fact too large and I had to ask the couple beside us, during their meal to pick up their seats and move, in a near empty restaurant. They moved over which then blocked off the staffs access to another large table, making the whole experience a stressful, and unnecessary from the beginning. Why we couldn’t have been sat somewhere in a near empty restaurant, that didn’t cause a scene with the manager and me disrupting a couples lunch I’m not sure. The food on the other hand was great. I’m disappointed to have had such a negative and avoidable situation, because we will not...
