Sale Curry House — Restaurant in Victoria

We ate here at the Sale Curry House before going across the road to The Wedge to see the live show - London Calling. The service and the food was fantastic. The best Indian food we have had for a very long time. We started with Onion Bhaji, then had Beef Kashmiri with Kashmiri Pulao (Both Beef and Rice had fruit and nuts in them). The beef was very tender and a delicious flavour. We also had Garlic Naan - the best garlic Naan I have ever eaten. The price for our meal was not overly expensive. The staff were very friendly, helpful & knowledgable. We travelled from Bairnsdale to Sale for dinner and the show (50 min drive). We definitely recommend this restaurant to both locals and visitors. I can see us coming back to eat at this wonderful restaurant on a regular basis. Thank you very much to the cook and staff for making us feel welcome and for giving us one of the best meals...

Absolutely love this place! The Sale Curry house is a fabulous family business with super friendly staff and a great atmosphere! The new venue is cozy and comfortable. The food is excellent and always comes out fresh, the take away potions are great and the menu has a wide range of options. They give you the choice of the curry heat which gives more flexibility for everyone to enjoy it. They are always happy to help and consistently delivering really great quality! Highly recommend all varieties of the Naan, and the chicken Tikka Masala. If you prefer vegetarian I'd go for the veggie Korma or the Matar Paneer! I had dinner at the Sale Curry House after having being evacuated from a fire zone that afternoon. The serving staff welcomed me to a table and were attentive and accommodating throughout my meal. The food both entrees and a main was delicious, and the portions were adequate. The restaurant itself, has a cottage feel to it, with a welcoming, homely ambience. The owner came to the table to see if there was anything I needed and chatted with me. She saw me looking at photos of our damaged house and extended her sympathy.
