SiChuan Mum’s Kitchen — Restaurant in Victoria

This is a message I got from my friend about how great this store is

Pull in to a small county town in the bdouble keen as for a feed before bed the Chinese restaurant is closed up still lit up I head in the two owners are sitting there eating dinner I asked if I could still by food I’m from out of town

He says yea cooks me a mean feed salt and pepper calamari to die for think the best I have ever had honey chicken and rice and curry puffs but as I go to leave he offers for me to eat in the grabs me a free water from the fridge and sits down with me and we all eat

Along the way asks about trucking and Wjere I’m from introducing him self as John and his wife Amy aparently she runs the local massage joint during the day the restaurant at night(they work supper hard and she makes the best dimsims) super nice family and very welcoming I’ll be back and I’ll let u all know about her...

For starters half the menu was crossed out.The owner blatantly spoke about us in another language while pointing at us and laughing, then return to the kitchen multiple times after saying our foods nearly ready and laughing. whilst taking 50 minutes to make honey chicken and 2 entrees and also serving people food that came in significantly later than us. Overall terrible service and I’ve had better Chinese at the servo. And I don’t wanna hear authentic this authentic that if you come to AUSTRALIA to own a business and serve food you treat everyone equally like AUSTRALIANs do no matter where they come from.

I went with my boyfriend, the lady greeted us so kindly and welcomely, she was incredibly nice and invited us in with open arms, she then went through the menu and asked us what we enjoyed, we were short on the money as it was $4.60 and we didn’t realise it was cash only, she said “no worries, just enjoy!”, There were other guys in there being racist and rude and kept going in the kitchen. She stayed kind and kept doing her thing, we then tipped her 50 dollars and the whole staff came out snd thanked us, definitely would recommend getting dine in and meeting the beautiful staff....
