THIS PLACE IS ALSO ‘PARMI LOVE’
What I was served barely qualifies as food, let alone something a venue has the audacity to charge for. The “Parmi Love” special was an insult to both my wallet and my tastebuds. The schnitzel was a thin, soggy excuse—cheap in every possible sense, as if it had been microwaved straight from a frozen box labeled “Regret.” The chips? Limp, greasy, and sad, like they’d been waiting on the plate long before I arrived. The gravy was cold, congealed, and somehow managed to be both bland and offensive.
To top it off, the “meat lovers” Parmi was missing pepperoni—an ingredient literally in the name. At this point, calling it false advertising feels generous.
This wasn’t just a bad meal. It was a complete failure of care, quality, and pride. An experience so profoundly disappointing, I left not just hungry, but actually offended. Do better—or shut the kitchen down until you remember what hospitality is supposed to mean.
Absolutely disgusting. Poor quality and very over priced. As a chef I could see the costs cut in everything I ordered 24 dollars for a half container of pasta which had no meat, cold undercooked garlic bread. So many better pizza places in Geelong, don’t waste...
Read moreHave ordered pizza to be delivered numerous times, the first 5 or so times pizzas were absolutely delicious with an amazing base and a good amount of toppings , but the last few times pizzas have dropped quality massively to the point I had to double check it was the same place. The bases went from a good thickness to super thin ( almost like on a flatbread) and burnt. The amount of toppings now have literally halved from a even a month ago. I ordered a Aussie pizza and it didn't have any egg, that's what makes it an aussie pizza .... I am assuming there has been a change of chef in the kitchen as it's done a 180 for quality. It's such a shame because it was great, but now I wouldn't recommend this at all. I did call up the last time asking if i could please come in and maybe get a swap over or something and was met with " you ordered through uber eats so not our problem" even though it was their fault they burnt the pizzas?? ...

My recent visit to Golden Goose Restaurant was a treat, especially for a cheese lover like myself. I ordered the cheese garlic bread, and it did not disappoint! Each bite was packed with gooey, melted cheese, perfectly balanced with the rich flavor of garlic. The bread was toasted to perfection—crisp on the edges and soft inside—making for a comforting, flavorful appetizer.
The ambiance at Golden Goose was cozy, making it a great spot to unwind and enjoy some delicious bites. If you’re a fan of cheesy goodness, I’d definitely recommend stopping by for their cheese garlic bread. It’s the perfect way to start a meal or satisfy a...
