Una Sosta | Espresso Bar — Restaurant in Victoria

Stopped off to get a couple of coffees and was greeted with an eye roll by the male barista who scoffed to his brunette co-worker "another one" as if he was a much less successful DJ Khalid. Quick service but that results in a very average coffee - espresso was burnt and bitter - poor customer service but convenient location. They forgot half the order, paid extra for milk alternative and was rewarded with dairy milk. Have been here before and both the coffee and service was excellent. Obviously just served by the post-covid hires who lack real barista experience and interpersonal skills. Definitely room for improvement heading...

Coffee is actually OK, but I question the pricing. Small 1 shot - $5.00 Regular 2 shots - $5.50 Ordered a Small extra shot (2) and charged $6. ???? I politely questioned their rationale and the poor girl serving me looked perplexed.... so paid and waited. Then watched coffees being made and what looked like my coffee, sat on the counter as they made and served customers who came after me. Eventually my name was called and yep, was my coffee sitting on the counter. Guess I should have just shut my mouth, coughed up the $6 and been happy to pay more than the next size up, with the same amount of coffee shots...

I normally frequent this coffee shop however today the service was terrible. Waited at counter too long for some service. When I was called to come and collect my food I was told there would be a long wait for my coffee. When I finally collected my coffee it was cold. Four staff on, you need to do better. Not a good...
