They refuse to show local artists. Unless you are queer and they want to showcase queerness. Which means: “as a person you are worth nothing; unless the director has use for what you create”
So if you are any sort of professional artist who decides to exhibit here expect the conversation to be about money & not what you bring “to the table as an artist”
Also don’t expect them to not be envious of you and your achievements & then if they bully you about you being amazing, don’t be surprised.
Cause I was mistreated here & if I am a 10 in looks, and a 10 as a visual artist & 10 as a talented person & 10 as a sweet person.
Why would anyone be treated better?!
You need to fire the director & make me the director, before you lose ALL THE ARTISTS
P.S. the art here is never anything special anyways; it’s just whatever is popular in Melbourne.
Now go try and say “I am a liar”
Soon you’ll only have enough clientele for 2 nights a week like another business in town that mistreated me & never made it right.
