Unfortunately i left this place disappointed. The table i sat at, had a long bench seat with no backrest. This is especially not ideal for ppl with back problems or taller people who need the seat further back, as u basically have to lean on table with elbows. All dining restaurants should have backrests, period. it feels like ur at a public park table. Also it feels like everyone is staring at you when you're eating in that room. On that particular night, there were no more than 4 full tables. It took forever for the waiter to come and take our order. Clearly this place was understaffed, and waitresses undertrained. The food then came after a long wait, considering the place was mostly empty. I proceeded to cut my veal with a knife that seemed to be made out of rubber. After finally spotting a waiter, I asked for a steak knife, which did the job. The veal schnitzel was covered in breadcrumbs and the veal inside was paper thin. It was very bland as my fellow diners saw. No taste. I tasted some of my friends meal, and the same thing, bland, no taste. Our table needed more napkins and not 1 waitress came to check on our table the whole night while we were there. Not acceptable. Obviously undertrained. When we finally got hold of a waiter again, we asked for more napkins and a glass of coke. The coke was so warm, felt like dyed black warm water. Didnt touch it after that. On top of that, the light above the table was flickering all night. Overall. I would not return based on this experience, and hope this place uses this review, to fix...

My wife and I tripped over this place last night and wow!
Venue and atmosphere are what you’d expect from a German Bierguas. As for the food, some of the best German food we’ve had this side of Munich.
We shared the Sauerbraten which exceeded my expectations and was better than my elderly German Aunts efforts. Sorry Aunty Eva. It was that good.
We had the Weiner Schnitzel and the Curry Wurst with a side of Sauerkraut and they were all brilliant. Seriously good.
The tough decision for us was do we eat on and attempt to finish these meals, or take some home and have dessert.
My wife spied the Rhubarb Crème Brûlée when ordering so a doggy bag it was.
I took a punt and went with the Black Forrest Cake.
Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better the desserts arrived and after one bite of each it quickly became a dinner table scene from The Simpaon’s with both not lasting more than five minutes.
My wife described the Rhubarb Crème Brûlée the best Dessert she’s ever had and the the Black Forrest Cake which was a deconstructed one was sublime. So, so, so good!
We left without the doggy bag and talked about how much we enjoyed it for the hour and a bit trip home.
Can’t believe how lucky we were to trip over this place which exceeded all expectations and then...
Read moreA Refreshing Experience at Das Bierhaus!
My wife and I recently visited Das Bierhaus on a weekday and were immediately impressed by the establishment's pristine presentation and cleanliness. The indoor and outdoor dining areas offered a welcoming atmosphere.
As a beer enthusiast, I was thrilled to discover an extensive selection of German beers on tap. I opted for the Hofbrau Original (500ml), which was incredibly refreshing and flavorful. The option to upgrade to a 1-liter stein was tempting!
Although we hadn't planned on lunch, curiosity got the better of us. We shared the Brezel schnitzel with mustard and horseradish mayo, accompanied by crispy fries and a tangy pickled cucumber salad. The schnitzel was exceptional – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and remarkably grease-free.
Unfortunately, our tight schedule forced us to skip dessert, but we're eager to return soon. Das Bierhaus has earned our highest recommendation!
