they took back the cold pasty that they had Sold me after I’d taken a bite you would think that they would give it to me for free after they sold me a cold one but they took it back. Lol. I do love the food there but I’m not a fan of being given cold food then they didn’t give it to me and let me keep it. I’m bewildered at this point how bad Customerservice has become. Sorry, I hate to give bad reviews but you shouldn’t be taking back food if it’s been bitten already if anything you should be simply letting me have it at that point. I could’ve heated that up myself in the house instead of taking it back and I didn’t get the other one microwaved because it felt fine and it was nice and hot. The second one you gave me so thank you for that.

I want to acknowledge that I did receive a replacement pasty, which I appreciate. However, the way this situation was handled left me deeply embarrassed and frustrated. Being called out by name in front of other customers and staff was completely unnecessary and unprofessional. It made me feel humiliated for simply leaving an honest review, which I wrote respectfully and truthfully. The original pasty I purchased was served cold, and instead of letting me keep it or offering a refund, it was taken back after I had bitten it. Proper customer service would have been to let me keep it and provide a replacement or a refund. Wasting food unnecessarily and treating customers in a way that makes them feel small or wrong is unacceptable. I'm sharing this because I hope the bakery takes this as constructive feedback to handle future situations with more courtesy and professionalism. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect, and calling out a customer publicly is not how to achieve that. I will not be back I really don’t...

Used to be the best bakery for many miles around, but the quality has slipped quite a lot in the last 12 months. No longer outstanding, just meh... and what used to be very good take away coffee is now very hit and miss, depending on who makes it. Last visit was today, wont bother in future, theres a nice bakery in Kadina now. Went again today, just to grab coffee. The giggly older woman behind the counter took my order and made the coffee. Yesterday we had a brunch at this bakery. The staff were very friendly. We were able to sit outside with our small dog and there were more undercover seating on the side, no seating inside. My husband had a delicious plain meat pie and I had a plain pasty which was very filling and tasty. We shared a lovely large apricot slice. Most of their treats were quite large. My husband really enjoyed his coffee stating it was the best one he’s had in a while. We indulged in purchasing a 6 pack of their mince pies and ate a couple later, absolutely yummy.
