Place seemed really good and I most likely got unlucky

Service was very friendly, polite and helpful The ice coffee which seemed like it had honey in it was surprisingly great considering I'm not a fan of honey The wait time was pretty good The decor and atmosphere was good the music was played a little loud but nothing to ruin the experience I ordered the chicken burger which looked great and the pickles were divine but when I bit into the chicken it had a really unpleasant taste, I'm not sure why but I knew it put me off the rest of the burger So I moved onto my wedges which again seemed really great but as I was eating them there was a constant grit like dirt sprinkled through although I couldn't find anything it was very gritty

All in all I'll be back I'm sure I just got unlucky

Had an absolutely delicious meal- I had the pulled pork eggs Benny with sriracha hollandaise, I got a side of avocado and they didn’t skimp at all which some other places do (Frankie’s 😂) and it was just so good, my coffee was perfect too I really enjoyed everything here. The staff were really friendly and accommodating and seemed to know what they’re doing. Their kitchen looked really clean and the chef in the kitchen at the time was really nice. Our food came out really quick and looked beautiful; they put a lot of effort into their presentation and all of the ingredients were quality and tasty. It was great to see so many customers coming in and out and the place was busy and the staff took notice of us and were really kind and took our order promptly. There’s so many beautiful small cafes in Warragul and this place has been my favourite- nothing was overpriced and the whole vibe of the cafe was comfortable and quality. I had not been back to Main Street cafe since 2021. The only reason on this occasion was having heard that they changed management. Previously I had a pretty terrible service experience from wait staff. However, not this time. Service was great, friendly and punctual. They were happy to put together the breakfast I wanted and the food was delicious and beautifully plated and decorated. Coffee was perfectly made. And atmosphere is what you’d typically expect from a cafe. The only thing was the price for a coffee with two fried eggs, no toast, avocado, a hash brown and wilted greens was what I’d consider on the pricier end for a cafe in Warragul at $34.
