Edit: My review isn’t false or misleading. It’s an accurate review from my experience eating here. Either take accountability or don’t respond at all. Dont own a business if you can’t handle negative feedback. The guy at the counter was very rude when I paid with my card.

Rather disappointed with this joint. The quality of the food has definitely gone down hill over the past year or so. Our meal was very mid. Oily, under seasoned chips. Chicken strips were super tiny. The potato cakes are good, but are often undercooked. The fella at the counter was very pushy when it came to paying with cash. I’m all for keeping cash alive, but forcing it onto your customers and acting like it’s a sin for them to use card is just rude. Visited again today and quality of food and service is still of a very high standard. Always visit when I am in Warragul!!!Under new management. Shop is spotless!!!!!. Fantastic fish and chips and reasonably priced. Greek salad well worth trying and excellent home made potato cakes. The best fish & chip shop in Warragul. The transformation is a credit to the new owners.A+++++++ Living back in Melbourne but if in Warragul always have to stop off and get more . These guys have nailed it with the best fish and chips ever!!!! Update. Thanks to new owners for getting back to me with a solid reply. Appreciate. “Warragul’s Blue Dolphin Fish & Chip Shop has been the best in the area for many years. New owners took over recently, who now have big shoes to fill. Keeping on some previous, experienced staff, is a big plus. Main change over issue l can find with resent purchases is the size and thickness of the fish, which is a corner stone of the business; and a point of distinction between B.D. and other F&C shops. IMHO if you can improve on this matter, it would be best for all customers and continue to place Blue Dolphin as Warragul’s Best.
