City Memorial Bowls Club — Restaurant in Warrnambool

Ordered a meal with 8 other friends, 2 meals did not arrive. Ordered within 2 mins of everyone else on our table. Very busy I will admit (320 patrons) my group had eaten their meals. When asked where the 2 missing meals were “will check & get back to you” 10 mins later still no meals!! When asked again same response!! “We’ll check & get back to you” I asked for a refund & was refused point blank!! Finally got our meals 10 mins after everyone else had finished!! IF YOU DON’T HAVE THE STAFF NUMBERS TO COPE WITH THAT MANY PEOPLE, LIMIT THE CUSTOMER NUMBERS YOU ALLOW IN!! My friends are regulars at this place, I am a visitor(former resident) & am very disgusted with how we were treated!! Shoved in cold areas (outside or near open doors) Don’t get me started on the lack of car parking!! I am disabled & can’t walk very far, I have to get an able bodied friend to park it somewhere & bring it back to the door whenever I need it!! I SURE HOPE ANY OTHER VISITORS TO THE AREA ARE...

If you are looking for a place that actually cook your steak to exactly how you requested it, this is definitely the place to be.

We requested for medium rare on one steak, and medium well on the other, and you can tell by the photo of the medium rare, it was perfectly cooked. The medium well was perfect as well. Someone knows what they are doing in this kitchen, so well done mate.

Sorry about the half eaten photos, but please have a read. I had the Smokey BBQ pork ribs. The meat just fell off the bone, and the tastes was a sweet smokey flavour. Delicious. Well balanced pricing. It was a normal atmosphere, not very busy for a Saturday night but lots of space and the tables are very far apart so no squishing around people.

Very disappointed with our experience at the city memorial bowling club at warnambool My husband and ordered our meals after after 45 minute wait with no explanation our meals were delivered to our table with a brief apology but no explanation. The meal was satisfactory but when our plates were collected Their was still no apology about our wait only to be told our paid docket hadn't been given to the chef. I would have liked someone to have informed my husband and I about the reason for the delay with our meals, also to at least offer a free coffee or dessert for clubs mix up Very poor customer service, visiting from New south Wales won't be visiting this club again very...
