The menu is broad, spanning influences from Korea, Cantonese cuisine, Malaysia, Taiwan, and Singapore—a true fusion of East meets East. Curiosity led me to 12 Zodiac, wondering how Korean fried chicken could mix with other Asian flavours. It might seem overwhelming at first, but the best approach is to order around the edges and see what works. Turns out, everything does.

The Korean fried chicken is a standout, crispy without being oily, and the hot sauce on the side hits the perfect balance of heat and savouriness. Their house-made BBQ pork uses a mix of fatty and lean cuts, showing off a clear Cantonese influence in the kitchen. Even the wok stir-fries carry a satisfying heat without excess oil.

The setting is casual, with cool wall art adding personality. A quirky popcorn machine sits in the corner—sadly out of order during our visit. Orders are taken at the counter, and the staff are super friendly, working hard in the kitchen.

Portion sizes are generous—we ordered regular servings and still had leftovers to take home. This is the kind of place that’s perfect for a relaxed meal with family, where you can sample a mix of flavours without feeling weighed down. And like the zodiac it’s named after, there’s something here...

Possibly the worst Asian food in the whole of Perth. Firstly wait times blew out over 45 minutes when originally got advised it’ll be a 15-20 minute wait. They weren’t even busy, they were standing around chatting. Finally got the food and it was absolutely revolting. No flavour for the char keow tuay and laksa. Watery and bland. If anyone rated this place more than 1 star, they clearly have never been to an Asian country to try the real deal. If this restaurant was in Asia, they would be closed down in a day. There was also 2 cockroaches we spotted while waiting for our food and flies inside the area they were making food. I’d be complaining to the health department for sure. This place is filthy and the food absolutely confirms it. No choice but to give them 1 star but really they deserve zero. Thanks for ruining our night out guys. Never to return and will be giving this feedback to all our friends, family...

A funky vibe dining experience due to its in-house wall designs and decorations. Great little discovery in Wembley with sufficient menu choices. All ingredients picked from the front counter so you are able to see their freshness and quality. Owner is lovely and passionate about cooking. We’ve enjoyed every dishes we’ve ordered, particularly the Singapore Noodle. Read great reviews about the curry rice but couldn’t see it on the menu, owner was happy to serve it regardless. Although the curry rice was not the ‘curry’ I was expecting, it was still very enjoyable… would probably say more tailored to Western tastebud. It was a bit hard to catch staff’s attention so make sure to not sit around waiting for a staff to take order at the table as all orders are to be placed and paid in advance at the front counter. Overall a very pleasant dining experience.

Cheap and cheerful. Was expecting a little bit more of a better sitting area inside as per other peoples review photos as it felt a bit greasy inside, however the food was pretty good. I went specifically for the fried chicken and it was tasty. I got the wings with gochujang and would definitely get it again. My friend got some dry noodle dish and hoovered it! She loved it. My only thing would be if there was a better selection of drinks, but I think they might be (maybe check first) I think they might be BYO as there was 2 blokes sitting g out the front with x2 plastic cups and a bottle of goon. So who knows. Well if I knew then I would have definitely BYOd haha.
