By chance on a quiet long weekend my family happened to come across this Cafe. The only place open. Moving my dad into a nursing home up the road we all felt a little overwhelmed and needing a little something to take our mind off the sadness we all were feeling. Walking up the road we met a man standing in the doorway to the only cafe open. They were to close soon as it was quiet. We sat and ordered some drinks. We didn’t know then but the family that owed the business were that special something we needed. Being In hospitality my whole working life I appreciated their hard work, the great food which was above value for money. Best coffee I ever tasted. Drink espresso and you know the difference between ok and perfect beans made into a perfect brew. Above all and there is no denying. I’ve never met the most hospitable, kind hard working people in my life. I’m so grateful for that quite long weekend day. I know I’ll never find another perfect place ever again. If you wait a little, please be patient, it’s so worth the time. If you find yourself a regular tell your friends and help this amazing family business grow. They deserve the very best. The food was not what we were expecting. I got eggs on toast (scrambled). The eggs were way over cooked and spongy, recommend getting them poached as the eggs on the bennie looked amazing!! The eggs bennie was eh, the flavours didn't stand out but good eggs.

If you want to order an iced coffee maybe ask for some ice on the side. As they didn't add enough ice for it to be icy. It melted before it got to the table and wasn't even cold. Then it got very busy with walk-ins and I didn't want to bother them over some ice, but the coffees were tasty and very smooth 👍

Also the service at this place, could not fault it. Very polite and super friendly! They definitely made the experience :) overall not bad but also...

I stumbled upon this place while I was in West Perth for a week or so recently. It's a cute little Café that makes you feel very welcome and I was very impressed with the quality coffee, the fresh juice, the tasty food and the very reasonable price's... but most of all... I was treated like royalty, by the kind and big hearted owner, who's passion and sincerity is abundantly clear! I changed my go to coffee shop immediately to this place, where said owner thanks every customer individually for choosing E-Sense! Refreshing and "old school" value's, that made me smile!
