Ivey Watson Playground — Attraction in Kings Park

This is a pretty great playground. It's secured aside from the front entrance. It's large with lots of different playground areas, smaller kid areas to bigger kid areas, a kids bathroom. You can bring a picnic and set up on the grass, or get food from the cafe. If you don't pick up after yourself the crowd will be into the scraps and there's only 1 bin near the entrance.

The weekends get pretty busy but during the week isn't too bad, especially close to lunchtime when everyone is usually going...

Loved it here with my daughter, son in law and their children. The area of King's Park is called Poolgarla. There was plenty of shaded creative play equipment to keep the 4 and 3 yr olds happy for hours.The shady Park is lovely for a picnic ( bbqs provided), with a few picnic tables as well as a couple of park benches strewn around the playground areas. Great areas for kids to run amok, best I think for kids under 10. Fenced area its huge and conveniently located with a cafe next to it. Those guys are really pumping out the take out coffees! Different play zones makes this unique. A wooden ship in a pirate theme, monkey bars, a maze for the little kids and different climbing things to challenge all comers.
