We went here on Saturday night, just to get some drinks before going out and realised, wow, what is this place inside, it's quite deceptive from the outside and has a great selection of craft beers... but a restaurant, but... don't let the size fool you, it's a hidden GEM you will be pleased you came across.
I told my partner about this place, took the menu home and so, we came back on Sunday for a drink and a bite to eat with a friend.
MAN ALIVE.... I can't compliment this place enough. We all ordered something different and I had zero complaints... none, nada, it's perfection at its BEST.
The staff are incredibly accommodating, polite, approachable and friendly and know their stuff well.
The chef, he's one that cooks with love and passion, you can see it and taste it in the food from the way it presents on your plate with finesse, flair and beauty, to the way it tastes is like a party in your mouth as every bite delights the palette.
Gordon Ramsay would be mighty impressed and would find it hard to fault anything here.
I hesitate to write this review as we would hate to see it so busy we can't get in when we want, but that's selfish and self serving... I really do feel no one would be disappointed by checking this place out and experiencing the boutique vibe this place has.
TRULY a delight to experience this and can't believe I thought it was a bottleshop and bar supply store... yep.......
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis newly opened Bar and Bottleshop is a needed addition to the Harrisdale community as it places a good eating place in an area of ordinary restaurants. Service was friendly and responsive and the chef has done justice to the local produce he sources with good techniques, and presentation which resulted in food that is pleasant to the senses and satiating the curiosity of the diner after ordering the plate.
The restaurant is small and a little crowded and thus a little incongruous the quality of food and presentation. There was a little glitch with one of the dishes, which chef Samuel quickly fixed with a change and his friendly response won us over for a next visit soon.
Will update with dish descriptions after...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreLove this place, such a cool little spot. Great selection of craft beer in the fridges and boutique wines. Awesome range of scotch and whiskey.
The staff are really amazing and so friendly. They really go out of their way to help you and make sure everything is OK.
They have a seated area where you can go enjoy some wine, spirits and one of the rotating beer taps (which are usually all good), you can also enjoy some food. The food there is truly delicious. Very high quality and lots of care and effort has gone into the menu.
I really like this place. It's not like any other bottle shop I've been too and I will continue go bad. Cannot speak highly...
