I've been there on three occasions now after not realising it existed as I don't frequent this shopping centre very often and usually go to Timber cafe.
Lucy has served me each time and has gone above and beyond especially when it was full inside, raining outside and the only table remaining inside was reserved. She used her common sense and let my gremlins and I sit and eat there so long as we gave her 15mins to clean up before the people arrived who had reserved it which was more than enough tine for us to eat and run.🙃💖
Imo the vego options especially for brekkie have usurped Timber's which lack imagination & variety. They actually have a mushroom dish and pancakes also which Timber removed from their menu.🤔🙄
No it doesn't have the funky music and ambience of Timber but at least they care more about their customers and don't let procrastinating school kids hog booths when only one has bought a drink or take up valuable real estate before school so they can goss and use the free WiFi 🙄
Move over Timber,there's a new...
Read morei am a self proclaimed cafe connoisseur and coffee snob. i've recently started spending lots of time around southern river and begun exploring the local cafes; this is by far THE BEST one yet!
their prices are reasonable and not overly inflated like so many others these days!!

i love a good benny (who doesn't?), and while i didn't order the actual benedict dish, i got a side of hollandaise with my breakfast and it was nearly perfect. my only complaint is they didn't give me more 🥲 my smashed avo was seasoned beautifully and the portion was generous, the feta was very fresh and the presentation gorgeous.
their sourdough ciabatta is something to rave about in itself; buttered and toasted on the...

The place is very well designed internally, but the tables are quite close together inside making it hard to get around, but still good for large groups if sitting outside. It kinda sucks that they only have 2 coffee sizes but I suppose that is environmentally friendly, however the sizes seem extremely small, even the large could be compared to smalls at some places, and the takeaway cups don't block heat at all, it was burning my hand while I was holding it. Food is definitely pricey for the amount you get, but if you believe in paying for presentation then it is somewhat acceptable. I would come back every now and again but this wouldnt be a frequent...
