Blue Lotus Cafe — Restaurant in Western Australia

I had a cappuccino, and then ordered a pen fried barramundi $28. The meal came with a salad and chips. A mountain of chips with a smallish piece of barramundi. Half of the salad was rotten or yellow, which means that the rest of it, even if it looked somewhat fresh, was contaminated by rotting bacteria. For a meal that falls into a higher priced range compared to other cafes (that includes cakes and most of the drinks) bringing a rotten salad is a complete disrespect for a customer and their hard-earned money, and the quickest way to lose one. I've been coming to Blue Lotus for years and the quality of food and service offered declined drastically in the later years, but the location is beautiful, so I am guessing the management is not worried about customers still coming in. Such a shame though as it really leaves a bitter taste instead of providing what is supposed to, which is a good food and a nice experience. I hope they read these comments and not just the good ones and consider some changes, especially the rotten part of the food they serve. That calls for sanitary inspection. Our table of 3 came for brunch (the website says breakfast runs till 11.30am but it's actually earlier than that). We ordered 3 breakfasts, and only got 2. When we asked where the 3rd meal was, they said they had given it to someone else! We were told it was too late to cook it again and had to order lunch instead. So my friend ordered a burger and chips (she really wanted the eggs) and after she'd ordered, the waitress came back with the original breakfast dish minus an egg, and said she had found it on someone else's table and does she want it now?? So someone else had accepted the dish and eaten an egg, and the waitress offered the leftovers to my friend!! How disgusting. The other 2 of us had finished our meal when the lunch dish came. We told the waitress we expect a refund as well as the new lunch dish but the waitress refused the refund. My friend was so turned off that she didn't even eat the burger and chips, so she...
