Unfortunately, not the nicest Vietnamese food I’ve eaten… I ordered the Hor Fun noodle dish with egg gravy and the noodles were really dry and the soup base was way too watery! There was barely any salt and it had barely any flavour. I would probably give this a rating of 2/10. Vegetables were decent. The fried rice also isn’t the greatest dish out there. It is also quite bland and lacks the fresh flavours of what a great fried rice can taste like. It’s almost as if it’s just a bit of soy sauce, salt and pepper and a splash of oil. Where’s your secret ingredient to make your dish stand out? Fried calamari was just okay. Not the nicest one ever but can definitely get better ones out there. Would say it’s extremely mediocre. The star of the show would be the shaking steak (Bo Luc Lac), very delicious and very tasty! I have no qualms about this meal. Overall, won’t be back. Thank you for your time!

Have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, especially after reading their reviews, we went on a Tuesday evening for dinner, restaurant was very spacious and lots of nice pictures on the walls, staff were very pleasant and courteous, we ordered our dishes, which came out reasonably quick, after reading the reviews our expectations were reasonably high, our dishes started to arrive and the spring rolls were tasty but very small, some of the dishes we got were tasty but servings were too small, the durian ice cream lacked flavour. We can tick this restaurant off our list now.

1st time patron to this restaurant.

Food is quite good, portion size is tending towards small, well presented and nice fusion flavours

Pricing isn't cheap for a suburban restaurant and ambiance is ok, different is what ill say. 80's with a touch of 70's thrown in, def not a modern theme but still ok. The place presents as clean and spacious.

The waitress we got unfortunately needs training, had little to no idea about how food came to the table when asked, and didn't bother trying to find out either when asked, said it was the kitchens responsibility to sort the food out, lol. Yes we know that ??? Also trying to clean the table when folks are still eating is rude and you are subconsciously telling the customer to get out now, and it wasn't even 9pm and was more empty than full. Hopeless response and saying 'yeah yeah yeah' to questions sounded, erm very amateurish. Probably wont go again, more a pricing/service issue for us. Cant justify higher end pricing in a...

My husband and I were excited to get some food from Lido Stirling after being regulars when they were across the road. The flavours were always so fresh and authentically Vietnamese. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our take-away food. Has Lido changed owners? 🤔 We had two different dishes, but the flavour was almost the same. The seafood dish was supposed to have a ginger flavour, but we could barely taste the ginger. The sauces were thick and seemed like they were not fresh, but pre- made. Very disappointing, especially as the dish was $30! The second one was a chicken dish, and the chicken pieces were quite dry and flavourless, as if they had been cooked separately from the rest of the dish and thrown in at the last minute. We used to love inviting friends to dine with us at Lido's, but I'm sad to say that we probably...
