Cairo Cafe and grill Broome — Restaurant in Western Australia

We visited the cafe today. Only arrived today and we are from Melbourne. We wanted somewhere to sit and dine but were very disappointed with the overall experience with the Cafe. Normally I do not write reviews but I felt I had to for the visitors who are in Broome and check the web site hopeing to find the same kind of service in the photos. Food isn't served in a plate as it appears in the photos on the web. They are served in takeaway box and although the shop is empty you need to pick up yourself. Not good customer service. Cleaning wasn't the best. I couldn't get the metal forks and knives as they looked very dirty so although I hate wooden forks I had to use them. Tables and overall the shop wasn't clean at all. Salad was nowhere near the ones in the photos. There was mainly cabbage, a bit of tomatoes and green capsicun in it.

Overall I personally won't visit again but If you are after a quick takeaway food. I could give it a 6 out of ten for the shish...

Went here today as we love Egyptian food and researched this place - so many good reviews and they also has lamb skewers and not that shaved meat that spins around for weeks!

I got even more excited as they had vine leaves and we were told that they are made in house - yesss!

Well...the lamb was clearly microwaved and then tossed onto the hot plate to brown it and the wrap was cold. I seriously hope I don't get food poisoning from this

And the vine leaves were from a tin...there is no way these are homemade as they had the same flavour, texture and look of the tinned ones

As a Cairo cafe management we would like to respond to MR TIM REGAN …. We really appreciate his comments about our business and we will be very happy next time if he register himself with a proper contact number so the delivery guy doesn’t struggle to get in touch with him instead of keep looking for his room at the resort and wasting 10 min apart of the other deliveries at the car to be delivered on time …… but definitely according to MR TIM REGAN comment we will consider to ad a room service option on top of the delivery in the future so he can get his food on time regardless his false...
