Let's start with the star of the show—the peri peri chicken pizza. Oh my, it was absolutely amazing! The crust was thin and crispy, providing the perfect base for the generous toppings. The peri peri chicken was succulent, flavorful, and had just the right amount of heat. The combination of the peri peri sauce, melted cheese, and fresh veggies was simply mouthwatering. Each bite was a burst of deliciousness. If you're a fan of peri peri chicken, this pizza is an absolute must-try!
But it doesn't stop there. The beer range at Burgery Bar is truly impressive. They have an extensive selection of craft beers on tap, showcasing a variety of styles and flavors. Whether you're into hoppy IPAs, smooth stouts, or refreshing lagers, you'll find something to satisfy your taste buds. The staff is knowledgeable and passionate about beer, and they're always ready to recommend a new brew or offer tasting notes. It's a beer lover's paradise!
The staff is friendly, attentive, and they create a welcoming environment that makes you feel right at home. Whether you're visiting with friends, family, or even on your own, you're guaranteed a pleasant and enjoyable dining experience.
Lastly, I want to mention the service at Burgery Bar. The staff members are efficient, courteous, and go above and beyond to ensure your satisfaction. They're attentive to detail, and their passion for food and beer truly shines through. Read moreI'm going to share my dining experience.
We had a booking that hadn't been recorded in the diary. It wasn't a big issue, and we were verbally told where we could sit.
No menus were delivered to our table, so I had to walk to the counter and ask if the menus sitting on the countertop were the correct ones we could use whilst the staff continue to polish glasses.
I then walked back to the counter to ask whether we needed to order at the till or if there was table service. I interrupted a staff member who was on her phone at the pass, talking to the chef. She was friendly when she took our order.
When our meals were delivered, there were no further interactions like "enjoy your meal" or offering of any further assistance from the staff. They simply walked off.
Water was delivered to our table shortly after our meals. When I poured a glass and started drinking it, I discovered the world’s longest hair in the glass and in my mouth—it just never ended, it was disgusting !
No one checked on our meals or offered to clear the finished plates. Despite being overstaffed for the number of customers, the service was lacking.
One staff member was eating a bowl of food outside the kitchen door whilst talking to fellow staff and another blew her nose near the pass and then handled prepared food without washing her hands.
Staff were not in uniform, wearing plain clothes with mobile phones sitting in their back pockets.
When we left, one of the staff members who was very close to us made no attempt to ask about our meals or say goodbye.
It was a...
