Won’t be back! Gross! Had to spit the sausage out and couldn’t stomach any of it after a while. Gives off buffet style warmed in bulk vibes and budget bacon.
The meals advertised look amazing and I had been wanting to try this place for a while. Just ordered the Big Breakfast x 2 this time though. Ordered via Uber Eats this morning and a Cappuccino and Latte with Oat milk.
First impressions… under cooked not browned definitely cooked in bulk. It was barely warm on arrival. Potato gems okay but could have been crispier. Bacon looked raw except for the edges, I like it crispy. Especially budget /cafe style bacon as it tastes weird. Sausages also not brown I’d guess all done in an oven then into baine Marie’s or something. The eggs were as requested sunny side up and runny. But a bit over browned underneath. Mushrooms were the best bit! I liked those till they got too cold and the flavouring got too strong at the end. Cherry tomatoes fine. Bread not toasted properly unsure if it was buttered or not but it actually tasted doughy!! Maybe made in house. Was that also done in an oven? Second sausage actually tasted feral and I had to spit it out. By this point it had gone cold too.
The oat milk coffees I’m not sure if it’s the brand or if it was older milk or just more than I’m used to. But I do regularly get oat milk lattes when I can’t stomach hilo. I had no choice of full cream/hilo/skim so regular milk could have been anything. Plus had to choose an alternative milk. One sip and I couldn’t do it. All I taste was the oat. Way too thick for my liking.
I’ve had better food in a hostel buffet!
Edit to reply to response - the Uber Eats driver waited at the cafe for a while for my order and had one very quick drop off along the way to my house. Driver was tipped 10% for her amazing service. I watched the delivery map the whole time. It is a fair distance. However I’ve had food further away arrive piping hot, but this was not the main issue.
The way it is cooked is what ruined it. If it were fried or at least grilled it would help. Although that bacon isn’t a nice one either. I understand with the bottomless breakfast you have in house you would need to cater in bulk. However I didn’t know about that when ordering and it’s not what you expect. If it was cooked better then put in a warmer I’m sure many would rather it.
As for the oat milk yes I’ve had that brand several times. Unsure why it didn’t taste right and too thick.
Both me and my daughter didn’t finish, both tipped the coffees down the sink. Both left feeling sick.
Photos also added - but note I had already popped my eggs with potato gems whilst my daughter got cutlery. (Requested cutlery...

Upon arrival (5 mins late due to lineup)we were told by head waitress 'sorry but your tables not set yet' and directed to our table where we sat for 30 minutes before asking another waitress for menus to finally order. We were given 1 menu and quickly ordered drinks from the bottomless cocktail menu (laugh now) and proceeded to wait another 30 mins for cocktails which mind you most couldn't be made as they had run out of ingredients on opening weekend so couldn't even get most of cocktails. Our food (bottomless brunch for 3) arrived at same time as first round of drinks. Food was dry bland (little to no seasoning at all) and had been prepared in a rush so was not the neat presentation everyone else got. We could barely eat any of it due to how dry and bland it was and then sat there for another 30+ mins trying to flag down a waitress to possibly order more drinks. When finally ordered took another 20+ mins for 2 cocktails and takeaway coffee. Staff avoided our table at all costs but did come to offer us more bottomless brunch even though our tower was basically untouched. The atmosphere was disgusting. All slammed in ontop of eachother at tiny tables with no room and was loud as anything making it very uncomfortable. Also the amenentites 🤣 4 staff only toilets. 1 working womens toilet as another was out of order and staff were still using customer toilets... head waitress was way out of her depth. Paid 210$ for what was a nightmare experience for my birthday and definitely not bottomless cocktails when you couldnt even get service...Very dissapointed indeed. For a place that has 2 stores already operating you couldn't tell at all! Will not be returning as basically a rip off for the maybe 100$ worth of food and drink received over 2 hours and called it bottomless brunch...
Read more2 hours of "bottomless" brunch and drinks, except it takes 15 minutes to get your first and you get cut off 15 minutes before the end, so in reality it's 1.5 hours at most and it takes forever to get another round. Food was tasty and more was brought out when requested, but extremely misleading to call it bottomless when there were nothing but delays with drinks then refusal to provide a last round well within the 2 hour window. Inside was so noisy we could barely hear ourselves speak so we went outside which was infinitely better.
Edit in response to reply from the venue: Untrue. Our last round of drinks arrived at about 1:47, at which point the waitress (who was lovely by the way) advised their policy was to not take any further orders in the last 15 minutes. This round of drinks took about 15 minutes to come out after we had ordered it. We asked to speak to the manager who came out and discussed with us at around 1:53 and then went and discussed with the owner by telephone, at which stage it was then around around 1:56. At no stage did we stockpile any drinks, and at many times we had no drinks on the table. We also finished our last drinks before 2pm, and chatted for a while after which then extended to 2:15 before we paid our bill and left. The extra $10 each doesn't take into account the loss of the bottle of Prosecco in the $49 basic package, and $59 for what is advertised as "bottomless" when it is clearly limited to whatever arbitrary number of drinks they consider is adequate, is misleading, as clearly there...
