20/8/20 Update Read Terrence's nasty feedback on Canning Vale Fish and Chips. Went to get fish and chips on 19/8. Both the fish and the chips were nicely battered and with golden crunchy crust but not oily, fish was fresh and fair portion size, the drinks in refrigerator self service as always and I thoroughly enjoyed the fish and chips. Anita prepares the food but employs young people to work at shop front providing precious jobs for young people. If Terrence has any issues, Anita is always fair dinkum and will definitely rectify any issues. It is bad enough that small business owners are doing it tough during the pandemic. Untrue, unjustified and malicious review should not be allowed to be published as it is totally undeserved by hardworking small business owners like Anita.

Been living in Harrisdale for over a decade and tried many fish and chips store. My family would agree that this is the best Fish & chip shop around. their fish is pretty damn good its never oily, the batter to fish thickness is spot on and constant and crunchy. And the chips portion for price is what sets this store apart from others who are rip offs. the service there are amazing. a while ago we ordered some FnC and when my wife came to pick up and pay, the eftpos machine broke down. because all she had was her phone, the old gentleman told her to go home , eat the food and come pay another day. such a great gesture from a family store that we couldn't just pay another day. after eating we drove down and gave them the cash, where the old man told my wife off because he wanted her to go home eat and relax😂. highly recommend. I wish that every time i go there is was there long enough to use thier free massage chairs while I wait but...

Simply beautifully prepared and cooked fish and chips at a decent price 👍

Fish Fluffy on the inside, batter nicely even and mildly crispy on the outside - and more importantly NOT obviously OILY - all that makes a good traditional fish and chips.

The chips themselves are nicely done and surprisingly tasty (salt and vinegar)

The serving of the fish and chips is also good and satisfying.

They won me over too with their friendly customer service. Place is clean too and they have an outdoors area to dine if you choose to do so.

Keep it up guys - Don’t rest on your laurels or become complacent like so many fish and chips places. Always room for the better...
