Unsanitary Conditions and Lack of Handwash Areas at Restaurant

My recent experience at Chicken on Charcoal was extremely disheartening. The most alarming issue I came across was the complete lack of handwash areas for customers which is basic hygiene protocol for any restaurant to provide accessible handwashing facilities.

Shockingly you will find that there are no designated areas equipped with soap, water, and paper towels or hand dryers for customers to wash their hands. The restaurant owner who was very rude when this issue was raised with him, claims that his restaurant is a takeaway establishment and not dine-in(despite having table and chairs for dining in)and hence is not required to maintain/provide this very basic hygenie facility to customers.

This oversight is a violation of basic hygiene standards and also poses a significant health risk to both staff and customers. In this day and age especially, handwashing is an essential practice to prevent the spread of germs and maintain a safe environment. Absolute waste of money. Went here over last weekend to try their Hummus and Lamb mince, which was nearly flavourless but slightly better in taste than their Lamb Mansaf which meat was overly cooked and the biryani rice was literally spiceless, could only taste some salt and oil in it, all a total waste of more than $40.

To make it worse, the service was one of the worst in Perth. This restaurant is not run by Lebanese, but by Indian immigrants that really need to learn basic hospitality service! The main guy, a tall skinny angry looking Punjabi male who barbecues the chicken who seems to be the owner or manager, really needs to learn basic customer service knowledge. If you are having bad moods, better off to stay at home rather than coming to the business and randomly shout at your staffs or even swore on them (I understand Punjabi or Hindi extremely well!), this just brings a negative vibe and atmosphere for...
