From Store to Front Door*
*If the front door is the door of the delivery man’s car and he has parked on the opposite end of the street block and he wants the person who paid for delivery to come collect it from the driver’s door and then move it to the actual house using a discarded shopping trolley.
Driver parked far away from the entrance from my building. Wanted me to meet him at his car. So that I would carry the three pizzas and three drinks by myself back to my apartment. I let him know that it is meant to be door delivery, also let him know there’s a closer car park he could park in. I asked if he could offer a bag carry the drinks in, or at least offer to help carry them with me to my building. He offered that I placed food and drinks on a discarded shopping trolley that had been left in the car park. I looked at him in disbelief and asked him if he was serious, he looked confused that I wasn’t interested in his offered for me to deliver my own pizzas to my house in a discarded shopping trolley. He finally offered to help carry food, and as we walked by one of the shops between my house and the carpark he had chosen to park at, he suggested that we should ask one of the cafes for a carry bag for the drinks. Is this some sort of bizarre budget cuts that Pizza Hut is doing now? Having customers deliver their own pizzas to their houses using old shopping trolleys and asking bubble tea shops for drink carry bags. Pizza Hut, are you okay? Do you need me to start a go fund me page so that you don’t need to skimp on deliveries and as well not have to ask bubble tea shops for bags.
This has honestly been the most bizarre pizza delivery that I’ve taken. For all intents and purposes, I’ll be sticking with Dominos and Crust who actually park near my building and don’t offer to move the food on shopping trolleys and have...
Read moreAppreciate bussiness can be busy but tonight was highly disappointing not only for me but the many customer in store. Arrived to about 7 people waiting around no service at counter and at no stage did anyone acknowledge the customer's, ask for names, take orders, advise customer orders were behind. We all received our order ready notifications and we had to ask someone to attend to us to then be told we are busy and have no idea when the order would be ready let alone would not check wait time on orders. They appeared to be lost in all the orders too busy talking to each other to even acknowledge customers. One customer turned up and asked for her order she was standing around for 10 minutes prior when she asked she a out her order she was rudely told her name had been called and when she said that she had ducked out and mentioned nicely that they should be calling orders she qas rudly responded too that they are busy and do not order fro them again if that us a problem. In the whole 45 minutes I waited for an order that should have been ready 40 minutes ago not once did they regularly go back and call out Orders that were ready. Poor Form Pizza Hut Thornlie customer service is everything in this day and age. On that note I left the store no pizza in hand 45 minutes over due and not knowing when it would be ready and went to dominos ordered in store and pizza ready and on way home in 15 minute. Still feel bad for the poor uber drivers standing around for 1 hour who are going to cope a mouthful from...
Read moreUNDER COOKED MEAT AND DOUGH!!! •no manger on duty (Came back multiple times for the manger and every day he was never there, even when the staff called and gave me a date and time to come in to see him) •Rude customer service •asked for a refund got told manger isn’t on duty(if a manger isn’t on shift the store runner should know what they are doing for issues like this) •got told the “pizza is cooked because they cooked it infront of me” even though clearly wasn’t cooked. •apparently new pizza would look the same (under cooked) if they made it again which isn’t true because when I’ve ordered in the past it’s been cooked and my original 2nd pizza was cooked fine,2 reasons a pizza can be under cooked 1.not cooked for full time 2.pizza toppings over required weight Had to drive out twice just for this order when it was originally a delivery and they couldn’t even give me my money back for the waste of time and having to eat dinner at 8 when I order at 6…. After the female worker argued with me I mentioned that I have worked at a pizza place for 5+years and I have done multiple food safety courses and training and I think I don’t need that knowledge to know when a pizza is undercooked when u can see/taste that it isn’t I get mistakes happen but if they are fixed without rudeness and fixed by following the food safety regulations then there wouldn’t be...
