Revue for Divine
Sadly there is nothing divine about this restaurant ! I t is with great disappointment that I have to write a seriously bad review. How hard is it to stuff up four simple dishes on a Friday evening meal ? Very easily in this case! We arrived at 5,30 , only the second party for the evening to enter the place. Having to beg for water, we waited! we waited! Even though one of the parties had requested to have the garlic bread be served first up before all other dishes we had to remind the girl and finally, after quite some time it arrived – then the roti bread arrived, which should have been served with the meal. Yet another full hour passed until we finally received our dishes, - the wrong rice was served, we had to wait yet more time for the saffron rice, (- let’s say it was yellow coloured, but had no flavour.) The dishes were bland, uninspired, and sadly mediocre. When you have to ask for salt to be brought up to season an Indian dish then you know it all! We felt utterly unappreciated, - while we waited and waited at least 10 takeaway orders were processed and prioritized before our dishes! so rude. All in all, it’s a 3 out of 10 for this place - poor service, bad cook- such a disappointment for the princely...
Read moreOrdered a take away over the weekend as I had friends visiting. The lady on the phone said it would take 30 minutes to prepare order. Fair enough, as I order 2 curries, briyani, roti and parathas. So I timed accordingly and arrived at the restaurant 35 minutes later. I was made to wait extra 15 minutes. That’s the first disappointment. Wait the list goes on. I picked up the order and got back home. Ordered Paneer Jalfrezi but was given panner butter masala. The second disappointment. I asked for 3 tandoori parathas but was given only 2. The third disappointment. Rotis and parathas were burnt. I understand how rotis and parathas are made but this is burnt to the next level. That was the fourth and final disappointment. When placing an order for takeaway, I cannot open and check each container to see if the rite food and rite quantity of food are given. It is completely trust basis and this restaurant can’t be trusted.
This is my second bad experience in terms of service. Last time when I dinned in, I was charged extra $50 for the food that I didn’t order. Luckily, I picked that up and got refunded. I revisited despite this as we are all humans and nobody’s perfect but second time is a...
Read moreI attended staff party at Divine Restaurant last night and it was an amazing experience! The atmosphere was lively, with colorful decor that added to the festive vibe.
The food was a highlight—everything from the Chicken Tikka, Fried fish , kebab many more was bursting with flavor. The goat curry was aromatic and perfectly cooked, and the Garlic Naan was a delicious accompaniment.
The service was excellent; the staff was attentive and ensured that everyone had what they needed. They even brought out a special dessert Rasmalai for the occasion, which was a lovely touch.
Overall, it was a fantastic evening filled with great food and good company. I highly recommend Divine Restaurant for any...
