We were thinking to get a takeaway but somehow changed our mind and decided to have a dine-in.
Upon entering, we were feeling the place wasn't inviting at all. It was noisy and the temperature was warm and humid, the floor was literally sticky and there were chips under the table.
The scenery and atmosphere made us change our mind to have a takeaway instead.
We were ordering through the online app and we had three uber drivers came later yet they got their order quicker.
We had one staff at the counter serving and I think he was waiting for one thing prepared for my order.
While we were waiting the whole time we heard female voices from the back shouting and laughing.
My 7yo son even made a comment that they're not focused.
The female staff at preparing section was somehow replying saying "that's racist" while having a laugh to the point where I heard she was replying the F word loud enough for everyone to hear.
The male staff at the front was looking upset himself that when our order was finally ready he was apologising for the delay. I give an extra star for Service for the front counter staff whom kept focusing on his work and totally ignored the unprofessionaliam of the staff at the back.
And all the was happening in the 45 minutes waiting time after making the order through the online app.
Over the years, I do find the KFC melville store becomes less with their presentation.

Read moreI’m so pissed off, I’ve updated this - Check your orders as they miss items OFTEN. Especially like to rip you off at drive through! ZERO customer service = Instore management don’t follow through with promises and the feedback/contact us avenue for disputes via the website goes unanswered. Frankly I’m sick of going back in and then waiting in line … their airhead staff have no clue about customer service or dispute resolution. Don’t go at lunch or dinner hour as you’ll wait second preference to all the online orders and deliveries !!! I see many a folks walking back for missed items and people complaining in store. Not to mention they undercook the fries often and over salt the tenders. Don’t dine in, the place is a pigsty. Last straw with a double charge at drive through and a missed potato and gravy, in store manager promised to pass my dispute in to head office for a refund - didn’t happen. I lodged a complaint via the website - not even an acknowledgment (and it’s been over a week)! I’ve had to resort to a dispute transaction case with the bank. This shop is the WORST RIP OFF MERCHANT in Perth! Im taking my appetite somewhere else.

They allowed us to pay for the order and then when they gave us the order, (luckily we checked it) the nuggets were there plus one over sized looking nugget - but no tenders (they also closed the window immediately after giving us the order). We realized part of the order was missing - and we waited for someone to come back so that we could query the missing item. However, of the 6-7 staff they all literally ignored us. Multiple people saw us but just continued to ignore us. Finally after 5 minutes, someone finally came to the window - we mentioned that part of the order was missing and they informed us that they had no tenders and instead replaced them with the singular giant nugget looking thing (without asking or telling us prior). Clearly we were not satisfied with paying nearly $7 for a pathetic oversized nugget, so they took the order back, removed the single peice of chicken, gave the order back and refunded us for the tenders that we never recieved. End of story, this is extremely unprofessional!! Especially when they tried to justify what they had done after being caught out trying to stiff their customers!
