Goldfields Chinese Restaurant — Restaurant in Western Australia

Sign says open at 11am, went there about 11.45 lights on food in bain-marie but doors locked. Sign on front door CLEARLY says open at 11 am. Tried ringing could see people inside. Tried knocking on the door lady looked out around a corner but didn’t bother acknowledging us. So we waited till 12 to see if they would open and yes they did. BUT we didn’t want food from the bain-marie so asked if we could order off the menu, well we got yelled at and told it would be an hour to be feed cause all the food had to be eaten from the bain-marie first Needless to say we walked out. Never step foot in the horrible place...

On 2 occasions I have visited here and they have told me that the wait period for food preparation would be 10-15 minutes. On both occasions I waited in excess of 20 minutes whilst Asian customers managed by Asians came in after me at the 15 minute wait marker and their meals were prepared and delivered before mine. When I asked the Manager to explain the reasons she states we are busy. I took as 2 busy to do my order but not too busy to do their own people's order. Utterly disappointed...

The food is ready made and is always fresh and cooked through. The restaurant is also very clean and smells very nice, the staff are very friendly and they speak Chinese and English, many Aussies coming here all the time. The most popular dish here is the Chinese roast duck bbq and I would highly recommend coming to try this place with friends and family.
