An awesome experiance, the gold volt at the museum has so many stories attached to the gold found, offering insight into the history of Kalgoorie, and the challenges met by the first gold miners who came this way to prospect for gold.
Kalgoorlie boulder was founded in 1893, and still till this day it is said that below the town of Kalgoorlie there are still large amounts of gold which has yet to be found.

In my wife's and my opinion it is an absolute "MUST SEE" when you are in Kalgoorlie. Everything here is real, interesting and apart from having millions of dollars worth of local gold in the basement, the social significance to the area of the pieces here cannot be understated.
