Arrived at 7.30 pm, advertised closing time 9pm, charged full price for two meals, disappointed to find many trays empty, including crab and sweetcorn soup, satay beef, and sweets depleted, only ice cream available. Ate a depleted meal, which I may add was enjoyable ,when leaving the restaurant, advised the young lad at the counter of our disappointment. He advised that dishes were not replenished at that time of night, but as the evening progressed, cheaper prices were offered. We felt that A, if you are offering a full buffet meal and charging full price, then all dishes should be available. B. If dishes have been depleted, then a price reduction should be instigated at this time. Bear in mind, we have dined at shopping centre food halls on a serve yourself basis, a large plate with all dishes available for half the price, albeit no sweets. Our comments to the young lad at the counter were meant in a constructive way to hopefully improve...

My wife and my 17 year old went out for dinner last night and we tried the New Hong Kong Chinese Buffet. When we arrived the customer service was great, the restaurant was clean and the buffet looked great! Unfortunately that’s as far as the good went, we all left most of our first plate half full. In our opinion the food wasn’t very good at all. I’m pretty sure the honey chicken was made from corn syrup not honey, everything was pumped with msg and lots of sugar, the taste was just not right on most of not all the dishes. (Looked great but tasted wrong) It may just be me and my family because we love all Asian cuisine from Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese to Korean! But when it’s quality and we can tell the difference unfortunately. Many may like this place but probably only westerners that have a sweet tooth or families with a tribe of young kids to feed and don’t know or care about Authentic...

One of the twos Asian buffet places In Kalgoorlie. Buffet dinner $29.90 included for unlimited serving of food, one can of drinks, fruits and ice cream. There are about 10 meats options available including pork, beef, chicken and seafood. I like beef stews, fried chicken wings and salt&peppers fried prawns. Fried rice was not hot. Soup and steam rice available. It’s just self service eatery and not much of service involved.

There are only about 3 people working in the restaurants (they might be the owners). They do not disturb you but they are friendly when you approach them to ask something. There is take away one container for $18...
