Went in for lunch today with my partner, many empy tables but most were dirty same goes for the seats most bench seats we checked were covered in crumbs or had sauce/drink stains.

We sat down at a cleanish table and I ordered lunch off the QR code from the table. 10 minutes later I received a call from another grill'd store asking where I was sitting. There had been an issue in the system with my order going to the last store I had visited.

The store on the phone said that this would be easliy resolved if I speak to the staff at the Karinyup store, I went and did this and was basically told this was my fault for selecting the wrong store when I ordered and there was nothing they could do or refund me, if I wanted to place another order I would have to repay.

I told them that I had not selected another store and that this was automatically selected when I ordered, this was not something I would think or expect to have to check when ordering in store via the QR code? They were unsympathetic and again said, the only thing they could do was put through another order at my cost.

Firstly, the cleanliness issue aside, really poor form on the customer service front, would have at least thought a reputable chain such as grill'd could have resolved this relatively easily, but alas impossible apparently. I'd give 0 stars, but 1 is the lowest I can go. Best to avoid, there's much better food options surrounding this...

Welcome menus at the front, so sticky and dirty, ended up googling the menu, don't want to sound pathetic but if the menus are filthy how is the rest of the service! Well was greeted by the manager (I assume) from where she was seated working on her laptop, she bellowed out dine in or take away at me, then got up and took my order, asked if i am a member, i said no - end of discussuion no offer to introduce membership ro me!! Food came quickly but had no utensils had a wonder around the restaurant and took utensils from another table! Burger bun just fell apart (I am glad I found a knife and fork) eventually gave up and ate the chips that were not fresh and burnt around the edges! The worst was having to sit and listen to team members have a meeting at the next table, I don't think customers need to know all of the companies policies and procedures Surly the dining area is for patrons?
