We’ve been coming here for a while and have had the some of the tastiest meals, we like the vibe here and the staff are friendly but we do have to admit that it can be hit and miss, it’s never awful but it can really range from average to delicious. The Brussel sprouts are amazing!

Recently the menu has changed to accommodate a few special nights (eg. Dumpling night and Sunday roasts) which are a nice idea but come at the expense of the food variety and quality that used to be on the standard menu. It was a bit disappointing as a vegetarian as they used to have so many options, but no more. The only things I could eat now were chips, Brussel sprouts and the vegetable gyoza they do on dumplings night. The vegetable gyoza were pretty underwhelming as they were the exact same frozen ones you buy at the shops with some sauce drizzled on top. We loved it here but if you read this PLEASE BRING BACK...

A much anticipated first visit to Social House for some breakfast (Sunday morning, around 10 am). Unfortunately, we were disappointed and unlikely to return. It was very busy when we arrived with a long queue to order, but despite this, the priority seemed to be photographing food and drinks (for Instagram, I assume?). We waited a while for our food, not helped by a staff member distracting the chefs to put a fresh scoop of ice cream on a meal that was being photgraphed. At one point, two members of staff were involved in the photo shoot of cocktails, while there were plenty of tables needing cleared and other customers waiting to order. The food itself was decent, maybe slightly overpriced. Just a real shame, on this occasion, that customer service was not the...

Not too sure how this place almost has 5 stars. It was my first time going to this place a few weeks ago. $38 for breakfast and a coffee very over priced but thought it must be good as it was always busy when i had drove past. 20 minutes waiting for food I went up to the counter to say I was still waiting. The food was not worth what I paid. Decided to give it a second chance this weekend and the service was even worse. Brought out a coffee saying it was on oat and in a takeaway cup I didn’t order in which I repeated to the server twice what I was wanting to order. They then brought out my food in which they didn’t even have the bacon on the plate in which I paid for. Such a strange experience. I’d probably just come to get a take away...

Another new cafe on the Osborne Park/Tuart Hill Main Street Strip. They have top quality coffee, a range of seating types to suit everyone, the newest and cleanest bathrooms in Perth, a new food menu, an outside service bar, plenty of parking and young friendly serving crew. Therefore I recommend Social House as a coffee shop and simple meal joint during the day. However, apparently they operate as a winebar from Wed to Sun in the evenings. I will update this review when I have visited during the winebar phase.

Sunday breakfast. Approx 10 am. Half full, no problem getting a table. Even half full place still feels lively. Nice decor, tasteful. Ordered benedict crossaint and breakfast bagel. Both were served quickly. Super fresh ingredients, both were very good. So nice to have something other than sourdough for a change! Heaps of avo on the bagel too, bacon was perfect, little crispy, little soft. Coffee was good, definitely be back for more. Be nice too see a sweet option for breakfast though, pancakes or similar.
