Tonight I ordered 2 pork belly specials and a double whopper from them I received 2 bacon delux burgers and a double whopper this is the second time this has happened on the receipt both times I paid for the pork belly specials and received bacon delux burgers I am a single father of 13 year old twin boys and we only get takeaways as a special treat every 2 to 3 weeks myself and one of the boys really enjoy pork belly strips and usually buy them from the super market and I cook them at home we both times were looking forward to trying your way of cooking them and tasting them with your special sauce Now apart from the disappointment of ordering them and receiving what I can only feel to be an inferior product And being charged for them when I feel as if the bacon delux burgers are also cheaper These are a limited time offer and I'm afraid they will be discontinued before I am either able to afford them again or am lucky enough to actually order them and receive what I ordered I do prefer your burgers over Maccas but I now considering looking at their menu and seeing if they have something similar in the hope that I will actually get...
Read moreTheir boxed meals are reasonably priced for what you get, and the food is generally of a reasonable quality. I've had my orders stuffed up on more than just the occasional instance though so can't really rate this higher until staff start taking a bit more care. Once in a while is understandable but once in every 5 orders (seems to be about the statistics) is not. Could be worse, like the local Maccas whose stats seem to be more like 1 in 3 orders something is wrong with it. Little things like forgetting to remove mayo (because I dislike it, not because I can't have it) and forgetting that a cheesy bacon tendercrisp does - in fact - have cheese on it. Those are just a couple of things recently. I've not complained to the store even though I know I have a right to have it replaced if its wrong, but it does mean I can't rate the store higher until their service levels improve.
I know they're only human, but with a bit more care, a few less orders would be wrong, and the star rating here...
Read moreAfter ordering at just before 10am today, I was halfway through my breakfast when i saw a HJ employee leaving a car in the carpark and proceeding through the entrance with his food service gloves on. After using the door handle he proceeded to the back area and began to handle food. I noticed he did not change his gloves and was using squirty bottles and handling buns whilst assembling burgers. I discussed this with the manager and she said thankyou for telling her, but she did not seem too concerned about the situation. I then noticed she was laughing to other employees about the matter which gave me the impression she was not serious about the cross contamination of germs. Especially during this time of year when the weather is cold and the likelihood of getting colds and flu from others is extremely high.
