I'm new in town and have had a few recommendations for Joe's pizza. I'm sorry but I was extremely disappointed. I ordered a family sized everything, everything minus corn, and a number 5 chilli dog. I was so disappointed when the toppings barely covered the pizza base, they were so skimpy, back home I get pizza loaded with toppings at least 1cm thick and cheaper. If i wanted skimpy toppings, I would've gone to dominoes. The pizza also lacked a lot of flavour simply because there was barely any toppings. I cannot believe people are satisfied with this and rave on like it's the best thing in town. The chilli dog was nice, but seriously, I'm not sold, nor am I inclined to return. I'll be searching for another pizza shop. Let me know when you start making real pizzas, worth the value I pay for. The only great thing about Joe's pizza is their customer service. I also wasn't impressed when saw one of the workers wipe their nose with their thumb, in front of customers & staff, wasn't wearing gloves, didnt wash his hands, then grabbed a pizza to feed...
Read moreCalled up an hour prior asking if I could buy 3 portions of dough to make my own pizzas, was told yes by a man on the phone. Upon arrival I was told that it was illegal to sell dough by the ball. After telling the man at the counter I had called I began to get rudely and aggressively berated by the owner who doubted I had spoken to anyone from their shop. After showing her I had called their number she accused me of not speaking to anyone as no one had taken the call. I then showed her the length of the call and was conveniently told it must have been their other shop (what sort of business shares a number) who apparently illegally sell dough like some sort of mafia family. The owners aggressive tone and downright rude behaviour while she accused me of lying shows me what this place is all about. Can’t speak on the pizza but if you are looking for even below average customer service you wouldn’t find it here. Shows a lot how a business owner treats their customers painting them as liars. Avoid...
Read moreJoe’s Pizza Spencer St We went into Joes last night. There was a little bit of a wait, but not so bad. But we were in the for a good 20 minutes. What was bad however was the way ‘she’ speaks to the staff and how she conducts herself. I found the way she spoke to the 3 teenage boys who were working as rude, uncalled for and must have been terribly embarrassing to them to be spoken to in such a way in front of complete strangers. This is 2022 and we do not treat co workers and staff in this manner. If you want to employ ‘kids’ you cannot expect perfection. Hire adults who can stand up for themselves. It’s just not on. I will find it very hard to...
